Wings Over Scotland

Home Of The Deranged

Posted on August 16, 2022 by

It’s not exactly a secret that Nicola Sturgeon’s grotesque and diseased perversion of the SNP is home to a motley collection of fundamentalist lunatics allied with the most extremist wing of the Scottish Greens, whose only interest in independence is to use it as a tool to facilitate the “queering” of society.

For anyone with the slightest remaining grip on their critical faculties, the cat was truly let out of the bag on the day of the First Minister’s infamous “broom cupboard” video last January, in which she abjectly grovelled at the feet of a tiny handful of adolescent transactivists who’d left the party in a loud and choreographed public tantrum because it still hadn’t burned Joanna Cherry at the stake for believing in human biology.

One of those she was abasing herself to that day was the repulsive and now mercifully deceased drug dealer and abusive racist misogynist Leeze Lawrence (above, left), but he was only the tip of a filthy iceberg.

One of many other lows was the attempt to appoint a man who’d relentlessly abused Cherry as the party’s Complaints Officer, which could only reasonably be interpreted as deliberate trolling, but a whole string of figures from the party’s quasi-fascist youth wing have now been successfully and quietly manouevred onto the payroll, particularly at this year’s council elections.

Being seriously mentally disturbed is now a positive career advantage in the SNP (it’s seemingly almost as much so as being a creepy sex pest with a fondness for younger men), as the party’s selection rules give explicit priority to people who have – or who claim to have – conditions like Borderline Personality Disorder, which might seem to a dispassionate observer like the most absolutely catastrophic match possible for a job as intrinsically antagonistic and adversarial as being a politician.

But even we didn’t realise it had gotten as bad as this.

Because the person screaming “WITCH! WITCH! WITCH!” at some feminists in that footage from a Holyrood protest last September is also an office-bearer in the SNP.

This is him:

He was very upset when people posted the protest video.

Because apparently HE was the one being bullied in it.

But this was him earlier that same day, apparently experiencing no difficulties with his mobility on a long walk to Holyrood, proclaiming that the “evil” and “demonic” “TERFs” were going to be “put in their place” and get “what’s coming to them”.

That sort of language doesn’t appear to be out of character for Adamson. In 2020 he called for Tory MP Liz Truss to be “put to death”, somehow escaping police action while Alba activist and Sturgeon critic Dave Llewelyn has been convicted and faces potential imprisonment for sarcastically quoting George Galloway’s own words back at him (and, like Mark Hirst before him, for using a figure of speech which the SNP’s heir apparent Angus Robertson absurdly pretended to consider a real death threat).

And just a few days ago Adamson suggested that former Chancellor and current MP Rishi Sunak would be “assassinated” if he set foot in Scotland.

Adamson himself hasn’t been in Scotland very long. In 2019 he was living in Liverpool, and when the council asked him politely to deal with rubbish outside the door of his flat, this was his response:

We note these things not for the purposes of mockery. Adamson is clearly a very seriously disturbed individual in need of complex mental health treatment. He claims to be severely autistic (although denying it’s a mental health condition), is prone to suicide threats and has been arrested as a danger to the safety of his own mother.

It’s not difficult to see from the Holyrood video why someone could be intimidated by him. He’s physically large and plainly not in control of his emotions. He appears to be traumatised and enraged by “demons” everywhere he goes, from visiting Disney World to taking a simple bus journey.

We publish these images to illustrate that none of it appears to be any barrier to his shaping the policy agenda of the modern SNP. And that, we’d imagine, would be an issue of concern to just about anyone, for all kinds of reasons.

Among those is the risk to Adamson’s own health, as someone who is clearly very ill-equipped to deal with any sort of confrontation or stress. It is not the intention of this post to provoke any more, and we urge readers with the utmost sincerity not to engage with him in any way.

But the SNP urgently need to be challenged on their wildly reckless actions in filling party roles with the demonstrably mentally ill and/or dangerous, while hounding out sane and moderate voices for the slightest infraction. It’s just the latest in a long catalogue of choices made under Nicola Sturgeon that are likely to have impossibly toxic repercussions down the line, not just for the party but for Scotland.

Because the really scary thing is that Adamson isn’t alone. In her desperate quest for validation, Sturgeon has crammed the party at every level with people who might not be quite as troubled as Adamson but are at best unbalanced, and who are certainly pursuing the same goals with the same malicious intensity.

(Here’s another one of its Twitler Youth witchfinders at the weekend. All we can say is that the “far right” must have REALLY lowered their entrance threshold.)

Scotland is now such an unhinged place that we feel the need to explicitly point out this final line is a metaphor: Sturgeon’s SNP is a ticking time bomb, and a lot of people are going to be very badly hurt when it goes off.

A Adamson I fear, is being set up to fail and for what purpose and by whom? Certainly not someone who genuinely cares or looks out for their best intentions?

And that’s the real issue here at play. This person is doomed to fail and that failure will most probably cause enormous personal damage to the individual and anyone in the vicinity caught up in the fall out.

The SNP should have greater safeguarding and scrutiny of all positions, if they purport to care?

Do they care? I have my doubts!

If you delve further down his timeline he was an ardent Labour supporter prior to his move from England to Edinburgh and his jumping ship to the SNP.

Anyone is entitled to switch their political allegiances, but when it comes to a political party’s own members and especially those given access to its ruling body, the NEC (even by way of being a member of an affiliated group – as so many who have been voted out of the NEC have used as a route to re-enter themselves onto it by the back door), then they should be automatically vetted because they may be a risk to the party itself.

With that said we’ve witnessed quite publicly over the past 8 years how the SNP have slid into an autocratic hellscape under the leadership of Mr Peter Murrell and Mrs Nicola Murrell, so I wouldn’t expect anything to improve until those within the SNP serve notice on those who have destroyed the party from within, and its a growing list.

Identitarians are massively over-represented in the arts and media. Most journalists either drink from the same kool-aid or are worried about the inevitable backlash if they oppose “THE MESSAGE”. This obsession with identity politics has infiltrated everything, including TV and Film. The Critical Drink does a good job of exposing Hollywood’s obsession with woke culture, particularly anything made by Disney (he’s also Scottish). They tried it with the gaming industry too (gamergate).

The Scottish Parliament does not reflect the lives and lifestyles of the average Scot. My biggest gripe with identitarians, is their sheer hypocrisy. The over-representation of straight, white males in politics is denounced as being problematic, yet, somehow, the over-representation of LGBTQ++++++++ people (particularly in Holyrood) is alright? Sauce for the goose.

On Alba that may well be the case, it will take time to build Alba up, time we don’t really have, Sturgeon and her SNP MPs and MSPs really done a number on us and Scotland as a whole.

Trying to be inclusive is admirable, and trying to undo the decades of not selecting candidates because of race or disability is also commendable.

However, SNP – and society at large – needs a debate on how that is best done. I don’t think ‘self identifying’ as BAME or disabled is a proper way.

If you look at the census ( https://www.scotlandscensus.gov.uk/census-results/at-a-glance/ethnicity/), you’ll see the largest ethnic minority groups in Scotland are the Polish and Irish. Should we have spots purely for them?

Or do they not count when it comes to inclusivity?

Disability is different. In this Scot gov doc (https://www.gov.scot/publications/scotlands-wellbeing-measuring-national-outcomes-disabled-people/pages/2/) it states:

In other words, it sees the barriers created by society, such as negative attitudes towards disabled people, and inaccessible buildings, transport and communication, as the cause of disadvantage and exclusion, rather than the impairment itself.

So no disability is a problem, which clearly isn’t true.

I have a (now sadly late) friend who was bi-polar and even changing whose house we were all going back to after the pub could cause him extreme distress because he couldn’t handle a spur-of-the-moment change of plans. He was also unable to work for the same reason – stress, sudden changes etc just destroyed him mentally, and that’s with him taking his ‘meds’ (as he called them) to help stabilise him.

I’m all for inclusivity, but it has to be done in a sensible, practical way that also clearly puts the health of the candidates first and foremost. It’s not clear to me that that is what the SNP are doing.

So I applaud their aim, but suggest they need to rethink their methods.

It appears more likely by the day that Sturgeon’s only true interest is gaining a seat on the UN’s ‘ark’ and an invite to Davos every year to rub shoulders with her ‘best international practice’ idols.

I can’t find another convincing reason for her lack of effort towards Indy, weaponising the judical system against the movement while allowing the trans ideology to divide it.

Similar has happened all over the world to supposed left of centre parties and governments, it’s more than just mission creep, sunk cost fallacy, internet activism and the usual corporate interests.

We’re heading into a technological dark ages based on scientism and Sturgeon is steering us right into that iceberg hoping to jump off and float to the promise land while we’re all herded into cities to have a social credit system beat us into compliance.

If there are no parties left with the ability to push for Scotland’s independence then perhaps the individual Scot will be forced to declare independence from Scotland (it’s government anyway) – tough times are ahead…

Whether or not anyone regards Scotland as a ‘colony’, it’s quite another thing to be made to feel inferior to someone else who you perceive to be of another nationality.

We all have stories of being ‘talked down to’ by English visitors (sometimes residents – ‘New Scots’ to some) who appear to believe they’re still in the Home Counties.

I won’t name the place because it may then become possible to identify the bastard, but about 20 yrs ago we went to stay at a relative’s croft, way up beyond Ullapool. Beautiful spot, a half dozen or so crofts strung along the road, then the usual ‘run-rig’ patches leading to a lovely sandy beach.

We had just arrived. Long drive from Ayrshire, and a tricky final few single-track miles.

We got out, my better half got the wee ones inside and I unpacked. It was an old Volvo estate we were in. A proper old tank. We’d brought enough shopping and bedding etc to last a week or so. I took everything out and laid it beside the front gate.

Then a very posh female voice said ‘The rubbish isn’t collected until next Thursday.’

She was about the same age as me (late 30s), blonde, with a pretty face ruined by frowning. Jumpers. Rohan breeks. Wellington boots. She had a ‘toy’ dog on a leash which seemed friendly and wanted a pat but she kept it close.

    ‘Pardon?’

She was staring at the bin bags which contained our pillows and bedding.

‘The bins don’t go out until Thursday.’

She was now looking at the Volvo as if she couldn’t recall ever having seen anything so disgusting in her entire life.

‘I’m not leaving this stuff here. It’s going inside.’

She then turned her gaze to me and – literally – scanned me from my feet to my neck. Not once did she make eye contact. Then she turned and moved away, only to go in the very next gate.

It’s hard to express how angry I was. It wrecked that wee holiday, for me at any rate. It didn’t matter that she was wrong about the bins, or that she couldn’t process the whole idea that some people use bin bags to carry/wrap stuff in. It’s not even the fact that she wasn’t ‘a local’ any more than I was. What really angered and upset me was being spoken to as if I was nothing. I didn’t even merit the basic human decency of eye contact or a standard greeting. To her I was just an unwelcome, messy, embarrassing oik, lowering the tone.

For anyone to belittle how wretched the experience can be by arguing over whether or not the entire country is a ‘colony’ misses the points Alf Baird and others have been making for decades. (Alisdair’s Gray’s miserable experience after his ‘s*ttl*r’ comments are probably the most prominent example.)

Some English folk – and they are a tiny minority to be sure – have long experience of making others feel like something they’ve discovered on the sole of their shoe. They do it to anyone, regardless of where they happen to come from or wherever they happen to be. And it’s just not acceptable. This isn’t ‘my’ country any more than anyone else’s but I shouldn’t be made to feel like an interloper by folk who regard everything and everyone as their property.

If that makes me a ‘nativist’, so be it.

Re: your post 16 August, 2022 at 6:13 pm

We had three sets of English neighbours round our way. One lot were non-descript, another were the epitome of the Lancastrian working class thinking they were middle class snob who thought everyone in Scotland was a porridge w*g needing put in their place by their English “betters” at all times, either subtly or not so subtly.

Finally there was a young couple from London … rabid SNP, simply didn’t “get” Scots who voted anything else. They’d thought London was finished, came up due to work commitments, couldn’t believe the state of places like Glasgow and thought the whole “Glasgow’s Miles Better” campaign beggared belief. “A pointless vanity exercise. It’ll lie there for years after to become an overgrown ruin, like the Linwood car plant” they predicted – and they were right.

They’d relatives all over de-industrialised England where the same “make them feel better” bollocks was being done that solved nothing. But up here people were so wilfully piss poor with their priorities and wee bastards like Pat Lally knew it.

I’ve noticed far too many of the recent wave of English being moved up here over the last decade are unfortunately too much like the Lancastrian lot I knew. Part of it is the rise of the SNP effect, and the ludicrous offence the English take to Scots having the affrontry to believe they’d be better off without England (forgetting we’d also be saying tatty bye to Wales and ESPECIALLY Northern Ireland). In areas such as the Highlands I can understand locals frustrations with those simply looking for a cold “year in Provance” – the same bullshit those down in Devon and Cornwall face with the holiday homers (and the plague of AirBnBs used by “touring” prostitutes and county lines drug gangs for “distribution”).

But in the Lowlands, part of me feels we bring it in part on ourselves. English folk are appalled at how prevailent the whole dumb “proddy/tim” garbage is still in the West of Scotland (where, remember over 50% of the entire population lives) – where new work colleagues invariably get asked (amid all sorts of gymnastics to get to the question), “what school did you go to?” and if that fails what team do they support, if that fails what team did their dad support, etc. The way Scots put so much importance to such total trivia that an Old Firm derby renders areas no-go zones in the 48 hours before and after, and the fortnight at work before and after sees so many regress into child like levels of mentality over a bloody game of football.

And then of course there’s that special evil of “the marches” – something in England they said good riddance to with the National Front in the 1990s. They know only too well the real purposes of such “in your face” stunts. Give the English their due, they at least try to learn from their mistakes. We in Scotland however “robustly” defend every cringeworthy shitey part of our “culture” long past binning as something to be “celebrated”, usually with infantile arguments about “banning it would be just like what they did to tartan an’ stuff after Culloden, ‘un that!”

If that sounds harsh, consider the probs they just had with Afghan refugees refusing point blank to move up here (even though there’s a squad of them already in Govan) largely thanks to the Rab C Nesbitt perception the outside world has of us … and THAT one was nothing to do with the English.

Such an incredible wealth of evidence exists now about ‘trans’ crime, ‘trans’ transgressions into female spaces and ‘trans’ autogynephilia that you would have to be seriously deranged to actually believe or support this stuff. Of course there are people with genuine body dysphoria, and according to Ry Blanchard, some of those do require hormones and surgery to have any kind of life. No one is saying that this handful of individuals cannot identify in any way they please, wear what they want, etc., but no one has the right to expect society at large to lower its safeguarding and abandon its laws and change its speech formations.

I think what we are seeing is the coming together of two types of narcissists – the first group comprises people who have been damaged in some way and do have real mental health issues, many of them, or they are out-and-out autogynephiles or sexual fetishists (heterosexual males) and the second group, the indulged brats of the pseudo left (both male and female) is using them for its own ends, which is to destroy society itself – for various reasons, some overtly sexual, others vengeful, misogynistic and so on. Many of both groups came from the so-called hard left of the Labour Party into the SNO around early 2015, and, gradually, their tentacles have spread widely throughout the party. However, they are also present, in fewer numbers in all the other parties, too. The SNP was chosen because it was in power. It is as simple as that.

As for destroying independence and the party’s raison d’être, it could not have worked out better because the ‘trans’ lot never wanted independence, no matter how much they deny that truth, and try to bluster their way out of it, and the foot-draggers and comfy slippers always wanted devolution to remain. They thought they were on a winner after the loss in 2014. They were very wrong, and we can see the panic setting in as they realise that there is no stopping independence and they will have to deliver something, so smoke and mirrors all the way now.

William S Burroughs got it right with Roosevelt After Inauguration. Just change ‘Roosevelt’ for ‘Sturgeon.’

    ‘Roosevelt After Inauguration:

Immediately after the inauguration Roosevelt appeared on the White House balcony, dressed in the purple robes of a Roman Emperor and leading a blind, toothless lion on a gold chain, hog-called his constituents to come and get their appointments. The constituents rushed up, grunting and squealing like the hogs they were; men who had gone gray and toothless in the faithful service of their country were summarily dismissed in the grossest terms, like:

“You’re fired, you old fuck, get your piles out of here,” and in many cases thrown bodily out of their offices.

Hoodlums and riff-raff of the lowest caliber filled the highest offices of the land. When the Supreme Court overruled some of the legislation perpetrated by this vile route, Roosevelt forced that honest body, one after the other on threat of immediate reduction to the rank of congressional lavatory attendants, to submit to intercourse with a purple-assed baboon so that venerable honored men surrendered themselves to the embraces of a lecherous, snarling simian while Roosevelt and his strumpet wife and veteran brown-nose Harry Hopkins, smoking a communal hookah of hashish, watched the immutable spectacle with cackles of obscene laughter. Justice Blackstaff succumbed to a rectal hemorrhage on the spot. Roosevelt only laughed and said coarsely,

“Plenty more where that came from.”

Hopkins, unable to contain himself, rolled on the floor in sycophantic convulsions saying over and over,

“You’re killin’ me chief! You’re killin’ me!”

Now Roosevelt then appointed the baboon to replace Justice Blackstaff, deceased. So henceforth the proceedings of the court were carried on with a screeching simian; shitting and pissing and masturbating on the table and not infrequently leaping on one of the justices and tearing him to shreds.

“He’s entering a vote of dissent”, Roosevelt would say with an evil chuckle.

The vacancies so created were invariably filled by simians, so that in the course of time the Supreme Court came to consist of nine purple-assed baboons. And Roosevelt, claiming to be the only one able to interoperate their decisions, thus gained control of the highest tribunal in the land.

Then Roosevelt gave himself over to such vile and unrestrained conduct as it is shameful to speak of. He instituted a series of contests, designed to promulgate the lowest acts and instincts of which the human species is capable. There was ‘The Most Unsavory Act Contest’, ‘The Cheapest Trick Contest’, ‘Molest-A-Child Week’, ‘Turn In Your Best Friend Week’, (professional stool-pigeons disqualified), and the coveted title of ‘All-Around Vilest Man of the Year’.

Roosevelt was compelled with such hate for the species as it is that he wished to degrade it beyond recognition.
“I’ll make those cocksuckers glad to mutate”, he would say, looking off into space as if seeking new frontiers of depravity.
So let us all scan the horizon for new frontiers of depravity; this is the space age, and we are here to go!’

“Parties don’t recover from people like Sturgeon.”

An astute observation, as postcolonial theory and the well-trod decolonization template that Scotland is following confirms:

“Inside the nationalist parties, the will to break colonialism is linked with another quite different will: that of coming to a friendly agreement with it” (Frantz Fanon). The outcome is what we see: “The rupture occurs” between the ‘official’ party and ‘the undesirables’. Repression of ‘wayward elements’ follows as the ‘official’ national party “draws nearer to colonialism”. An awakened nation and people begins to march – and “the plans for liberation are sketched out”, e.g. by Salvo and SSRG. There is only one doctrine now – “to act in such a way that the nation may exist”, which is, to assert sovereignty of the people. “The nationalist parties do not understand this new phenomenon which precipitates their disintegration.”

    Mark Boyle.

England does have the sectarian shitery.
It’s rank with masonic orders, secret meetings & orange orders.

I’m sorry, but this is nonsense, complete and utter nonsense – nothing more than wishes being projected as facts, the sort of drivel from which much of today’s “everyone’s a special little snowflake” derives from.

Apart from Liverpool, the Orange Order never took off down south, not even in London (although there once was a “Thames Valley” branch). Their problem was twofold, first being seen as an “Irish” thing (and thus ironically hamstrung by another set of prejudices!) and secondly local authorities doing their best to make them unwelcome (unlike Scotland and the Irelands, where sectarianism and/or publican pressure allowed them to optimise their “in your face”-ness. The “Thames Valley” lot were often forced to march down one side of a slip road outside Reading (“and like it!”) for their Twelfth, the same treatment they gave to political marches.

As for the freemasons, the “mafia of the mediocre” is not anti-Catholic – rather it is the Catholic church that is anti-freemasonry (at least in papal doctrine), as is the Free Presbyterians and a number of other Christian groups, owing to their “ungodly oath taking” (this reason is ironically also why the FPs – the most virulent anti-Catholic of the Presbyterian groups in Scotland, is also the most anti-Orange Order, membership of which means instant expulsion). Pope Paul was suitably abashed when weeks after a papal bull reiterating the Vatican’s anti-masonic stance, he discovered several of his bishops were “on the square”!

The Catholic Church of course has several of its own such as the so-called Knights Of St Columba – although a couple of Catholic priests are brave enough to forbid them from using parish property, in much the same manner some Anglicans forbid freemasons from having “themed” services or functions within their parish church or hall.

From that you can work out the churches’ real problem with Freemasonry is not that of “rival Gods”, but that of competition – both are organisations proffering the acceptance of mumbo jumbo and some theatre in return for tangible rewards. Freemasonry is a threat like witchcraft to Christianity because the rewards are material and present, not ethereal and after death …

As for quizzing what schools, they do that too. It’s the fastest way to find out if you failed 11+. That made for being instantly ostracised in the workplace if some poor sod had & that shit follows them all their life.

Again, rubbish. The 11 plus was scrapped in 1976 – 46 years ago and the members of that generation affected largely long since retired. Once again you are making things up to make it look “it’s no just us!”

Although there are still publicly funded schools where places are awarded via an entrance exam (ironically Anglican and Catholic state funded schools are the worst for this!), it’s only the “old school tie” network amongst the upper echelons of management that the English have to watch for (we have the same up here to a minor degree with the Hutchie/St Aloysius mafiosi, although that’s largely down to the historical feud between the “old” independents and the ex-grant maintained “upstarts” rather than a public vs state thing …). Up here, our wee sectarian workplace issues transcends class and pay grade, and well you know it.

Scotland has several options on currency, more and much better options than other fledgling nations. All currencies, with the exception of maybe China and a couple of others, are underpinned by a nation’s economic profile, including things like GDP, productivity, debt ratios, borrowing, etc.

Scotland has very little to worry about, as Mark Littlewood famously pointed out on Question Time a few years ago; we have the GDP of a much larger country like Portugal and a relatively small population. Scotland would have a strong and stable currency because it would be underpinned by a strong and stable economy, if it chose to go down that road.

Using Sterling looks like an increasingly needlessly risky option and if Scotland pulled out of the UK, Sterling’s volatility would be expected to increase — actually there’s no doubt about it, the value of Sterling would fall which may actually make using it more appealing for us in terms of exports.

It’s a question best left to the economic eggheads.

    OT.

This is an important topic as it involves many ramifications to farmers, food and drink industry in Scotland,
The ecology, naturelised wild life of Scotland, woodlands buy outs as investments, the right to roam, hillwalking, pets, etc,
There is hardly a part of every day Scottish life that it does not impose on,

Reading an article of the guardian headline,
“Is it time to stop cats roaming?”
At the expense to owners of a really hefty hundreds of pounds fine.

Well apparently they have been doing this since the 90s in america, and now Walldorf is introducing this idea,
The guardian goes on to mentioning the UK.
The reasoning behind this is to save rare bird species??..
    Stupid is as stupid does,

But how does this tally with re- wilding britain, re- wilding SCOTLAND, by introducing wild predatory animals from Scotlands past such as large feline predators, wolves, bears, large predatory birds that often take chicks of other birds, (I watched buzzard take and eat a black bird,) eagles are much larger and will eat fish salmon) small birds, hares and rabbits, and all baby animals that it can carry load wise.
There is no corralation between one ideology and the other,
Except the restrictions are on human domestic behavior,

Farmers are suffering from this neurotic ideology, so are fishermen, the direct connection to our and drinks food industries need not be emphasised,

Under bird protection the right to roam could be curtailed.
Under species and bird protection woodlands in Scotland are being privately bought,
Big estate owners already use protection of certain animals on their estates to prevent roaming.
Animal charities are busy cordoning of acres of land from the Scottish right to roam,

The slow but steady progression towards restrictions on the domesticity of humans is stealthy.
If they fine you hundreds of £s for your cat having freedom, it is not a giant step to fine hundreds £s for your dogs,
Licensing of dogs will grow in expense, and be curtailed,
Freedom to move and roam as under a re-wilding programme is a heavy tax burden (is no longer free)
Where you feet used to wander for the enjoyment of fresh air and the countryside will be restricted to fines,
Where you used to enjoy or play along the rivers and lochs will be no more, for this will be the water supply for down south,
We are sleep walking into dictatorship, where humans are the problem for the government.

You missed the point by a mile,

Feline predators are to be free roaming in a future Scotland, but not the smaller less damaging to the enviroment feline domestic cat,

Canine Wolves will roam free in a future Scotland, but not the smaller canine domestic dogs.

Wild buffalo will roam free, but the smaller less dangerous domestic cattle is to be reduced.

So most domesticated animals after thousands and thousands of years are to be reduced under fines to make way for wild animals

Who is funding this ideology in Scotland if not in the Scottish governments Accounts.?
Who is given the orders to pass the legislation Laws , if the funding for this ideology is not accounted for in Scottish financial accounts.?

Is the funding for this coming from down south in Westminster, if so where is it in the accounts, ? In the Barnett formula perhaps for instance?

Does that make it UK law, not Scots Law?

It would be “built on the principles of freedom, tolerance, equality, the protection of individual and community rights and the rejection of prejudice and discrimination in any form”.”

The group stated: “Decency, respect, democracy, and the vision to build a better nation for all are the foundations of the civic Yes movement. Those who use our movement as an excuse to be abusive online or in person are as big a barrier to independence as those who deny democracy.

Meh, not convinced by that article. The report mentions Hawick specifically, and I’m positive that relates to the sewage Treatment Works being physically under water itself, and properties down stream were compensated for it happening. There is also now a massive flood protection scheme underway. (That has issues on it’s own, but that’s a different story).

To my mind, that might be categorised as a spillage, but it’s a world away from deliberate contamination on the scale we are seeing in England.

So I see from the news articles that the SNP has started reporting its membership numbers again. The EC must have forced them to do it, it’s so embarrassing I can’t see any other way they would allow the information to get out.

From 125,000 odd at the end of 2019 they lost 20,000 members in 2020 and another 5,000 in 2021 to leave 100,00 at 31/12/21. So in the last 2 calendar years they’ve lost one-fifth of the membership and I think we can assume that over the last 7 months they’ve lost even more as the reality of GRA, etc has sunk in. The financial consequences are substantial too. 25,000 X 12 quid = 300,000/year lost income at a minimum and I doubt any of those ex-members are selling too many raffle tickets either.

ISTR that the SNP were claiming that there had been a big influx of new members because of the Dear Leader’s stance on trans rights. Not much sign of that. The loss of one-fifth of the membership is a massive vote of no confidence in Sturgeon’s leadership. Yet the excuses keep coming. According to the SNP it’s all because of the COVID, the poor members can’t afford one measly Pound a month!

Thanks to the actions of Sturgeon the betrayer of Scots, (she was too busy trying to save the union from Brexit, instead of saving Scotland from the union) it will be just the little more expensive to enter any of the 26 EU countries.

AS long as the betrayer is FM we’ll be tied to this God awful union and the damage to our economy and country will continue to expand.

SCOTS travelling abroad to one of 26 European destinations will have to start paying to enter them next year, the European Union has confirmed.

The EU, which Scots voted to remain in back in 2016 while England and Wales opted to leave, has delayed the launch of its €7 charge until November 2023.

UK passport holders hoping to visit Schengen States will be treated like any other non-EU country as a result of that referendum.

It means people travelling to any of the 26 countries will have to apply and pay for electronic travel authorisation.

The Lord Adocate’s application to the Supreme Court will be paid for by the Government, but if I have got it right the SNP have applied to be heard themselves in the case, so they have to pay for that from their own funds. A paragraph in the published accounts refers specifically to the obtaining of a referendum being a part of the process of getting independence. I’ll try and quote the exact words if I can find it again.

When I said that SNP taxpayers were paying twice to get the answer to the question of a referendum being permissible I was wrong – they are in fact contributing three times:

    1. When the Government intervened in the Keatings case to prevent the question being answered (taxpayer funded).

    2. For the Government’s present Supreme Court case (taxpayer funded).

    3. For the SNP’s representation in the Supreme Court case (from SNP membership fees) – unless of course the SNP claim that all these fees are being paid from other money given to it by way of donation.

I wonder if SNP members can see what a merry dance they are in here: In the Keatings case, the SNP Government fights and succeeds in blocking the answer to the referendum question; it is now fighting to get an answer to the question but says it doesn’t think it has the power to hold a referendum; so the SNP seeks to intervene as a party to say the Government does have the power because the referendum as proposed would be meaningless and would have no effect.

What a wonderful way to spend taxpayer’s and SNP members money..

They will surely be loved for this – by the lawyers

It’s remarkable how many times the mainstream media lets these little shits off the hook – even the right wing newspapers don’t touch them. Hmmm, wonder why?

The roasters soiling the independence movement by their behaviour at Perth are just the personification of the cadre of moonhowlers that appear to have taken up residence BTL in here. Scratch the surface and the SWP, their hingers oan and sundry fellow travellers just in it so they can vent their nativism and xenophobia are soon revealed.

I see Rev Stu slapped those responsible down in a FB post. Amen to that!

But the behaviour of those in Perth is par for the course for any protest where the SWP thugs turn up, whereas by contrast you can have dozens of Siol nan Gaidhealers doing their “Dumbledore’s Army” routine and the worst that happens is daft teenage girls screaming “SEXY!” at the ageing potbellied ones who have gone for the full cosplay outfit and not just the kilt.

Granted, there’s also the addition to Scottish nationalist ranks (an apt term …) of the transvangelicals who act like baboons in an electrified cage the second they encounter anyone who may be outside of their hivemind. But they never turn up for any protests which have zero to do with their sexual peccadilloes – they are notorious for their lack of reliability to any cause but their own egos, and will latch back onto Labour if the SNP’s star should ever fall.

There’s little doubt most of the trouble in Perth came from that same old source which has been the Conservative Party’s best friend for over fifty years – the SWP: a vociferous opponent of Scottish independence for decades and responsible for conjouring up the moronic (even by their low standards) “Scottish Nazi Party” jibe at the SNP (since anything non-SWP is, of course, “nazi” and “Tory scum” by default). It only “saw the light” when the Scottish Socialist Party (which they wrecked, as per usual) appeared to be getting places and leeching off them seemed another great marketing strategy with the routine end motive of generating cash for the “cause” (ie. keeping their leaders in well paid lifestyles).

It’s long past the stage any Scottish nationalist gathering or protest made it clear anyone holding their placards or newspapers is not welcome. The SNP may be a lost cause, but other Scottish nationalist groups should make sure this lot are not allowed to wreck their own work.

Sorry – read it somewhere a couple of weeks ago.

Ian Dury (post-Blockheads) had a song called “Poo Poo In My Prawn” about the subject back in 1992: water cleanliness of course being a subject dear to his heart after contracting polio from a public swimming pool.

I took a sudden notion to go down to the ocean
I’d got my sun-tan lotion, my flippers and my mask

In proper distribution of fully-formed ablutions
Formed an ocean of pollution in which I daredn’t bask

Some turds were teeny-tiny and some were big and shiny
But they all fucked up the briney in which I dipped my toe
If you go swimming in the shittius, you’ll get worse than dermititis
From the sea of grey detritus where the sewage ebbs and flows

There’s no respite from the cess-pit – no shelter from the pong
The ocean’s full of motions – where the hell did we go wrong?

Like a lamb off to the slaughter, I poured myself a glass of water
I failed to spot I’d caught a little creature in my cup

I was well and truly bolloxed from the fires of hell that followed
T’was the cup of life I’d swallowed and it almost did me up.

Something coming through the plumbing that should not be there at all
The glass’s brimming, things’re swimming, quite frankly I’m appalled!

I was a hungry fella, I defrosted my paella came down with Salmonella
    Three weeks intensive care!

They failed to send technicians in to check the air-conditioning
Which was unfortunately transmissioning a case of Legionnaires

    There’s a malaise in the mayonnaise, there’s a poo-poo in the prawn
Where we missed them in the system little germs are being born
There’s no respite from the cess-pit – no shelter from the pong

    True story.

I just spent a week on a river cruise ship. The staff were lovely, but FOUR TIMES I heard a waiter address me as “sir” then immediately correct himself. (A different waiter each time, but always men – no waitress made the mistake.) By the third time I was sensing a pattern.

So I spoke to the fourth guy. “You’re the fourth person that has done that,” I said. “What am I doing wrong?” He answered, “It’s the hair style, madam.” I just smiled and said, I’ll have the Wiener schnitzel, please.”

I’m still baffled. At the moment my hair is down past my shoulders and clipped back at the nape of my neck with a hair slide. I don’t know if the waiters didn’t see the ponytail or if they all took me for an ageing rocker. I never got this when I had short hair.

But, you know, I didn’t scream about being misgendered. I didn’t demand compensation, or for the waiters to be sacked, or for the entire staff to receive compulsory re-education. Because I’m a woman and a few waiters needing a visit to Specsavers doesn’t threaten me in the slightest.

The way these trans snowflakes carry on is not normal behaviour, and certainly not normal behaviour for a woman. But heaven help these poor waiters if they ever have a transwoman on that boat.
