Wings Over Scotland

Don’t you think she looks tired?

Posted on January 29, 2023 by

It’s been a rough old week for the First Minister.

And next week’s not looking much better.

Because Nicola Sturgeon’s incredible arrogant hubris over the Gender Recognition Reform bill has finally achieved what feminists have been trying to do for years – push the toxic issue of gender right to the front of the media and into the faces of the public.

And having just created a massive trainwreck over the Adam Graham/Isla Bryson affair, it’s nothing short of jaw-dropping that the SNP’s response is to walk right into a burning skip fire.

Readers, we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Scott. We urge you to read all of the below, and not solely to marvel at the poor confused Daily Record hack’s desperate hit-and-miss struggle to keep up with the pronouns.

(They’d clearly just given up completely by the last sentence.)

Because just one day after being forced to hurriedly remove the double rapist Adam Graham from the women’s prison at Cornton Vale, the Scottish Prison Service – which is an Executive Agency of the Scottish Government and follows its policy guidelines – has astonishingly decided that Scott belongs with women prisoners too.

When trying to explain the gender issue to normal people who pay little attention to politics, the biggest problem faced by “gender-critical” activists (including this site) is the need to constantly dial down the reality and tell people about the mildest aspects first, because if you drop them straight in with the serious stuff they think you’re insane.

“Don’t be ridiculous, of course our government wouldn’t lock up traumatised, non-violent female prisoners with psychopathic rapist men”, they say, quite understandably, because the whole idea is so obviously and utterly deranged. But thanks to the SNP, now it’s in all the papers and on the teatime news bulletins and you don’t sound like a tinfoil-hatted conspiracy theorist when you tell people about it.

Because of Sturgeon’s obsessive determination to push the GRR through against the overwhelming wishes of the Scottish public, attention has also been drawn to cases like that of Katie Dolatowski, the 6’5″ paedophile who incredibly was recently moved to Cornton Vale because he was too violent for the male prison at Polmont.

Even more astonishingly, Dolatowski is now at liberty, because the Scottish judicial system under Cabinet Secretary Keith Brown appears to have simply thrown up its hands and decided it can’t contain him, and that what’s instead required is to “[build his] motivation and capacity for positive change”.

The media has also highlighted the case of Sophie Eastwood, a transgender murderer who identifies as a little girl and demands that prison guards hold his hand when he’s outside his cell.

(Remarkably, Eastwood actually isn’t currently in a women’s prison but has been held in Cornton Vale in the past.)

Yet still the First Minister and her Scottish Government cling doggedly to their mantra that “trans women are women” and that we must simply take the word of anyone who declares themselves to be the opposite sex. Because surely killers and rapists and paedos and stalkers wouldn’t lie, would they?

Every concession, such as the case of Adam Graham, has to be painstakingly dragged from them individually. Yet if even ONE person isn’t to be granted unquestioned self-identification, the entire premise underpinning the concept instantly crumbles to dust.

A policy that “everyone is whoever they say they are, unless they’re bad people in which case they might not be and we’ll fob it off to someone else to decide on a case-by-case basis” is self-evidently nonsensical. If you’re conceding that gatekeeping is sometimes required, then by definition it’s ALWAYS required, because otherwise how do you know when it’s required and when it isn’t?

Unless, of course, your position is “We’ll just wait until they rape someone. That’s probably a bit of a giveaway that we might need to check they’re not a wrong’un, and the unlucky victims are a price worth paying for us to score some Stonewall Points and burnish Nicola’s reputation as a trans hero”.

(Of course, such an outcome is fairly inevitable if you hand over the control of your legislative agenda to extremely dodgy pressure groups like the Scottish Government-funded Scottish Trans Alliance, who’ve been given £850,000 of your money since 2017 in order to push for the housing of male sex offenders in women’s prisons, consciously and deliberately chosen in order to create a Trojan Horse for allowing men to invade all women’s other single-sex spaces.)

Wrestling with that blatantly obvious contradiction looks like it might, finally, be keeping Nicola Sturgeon awake at night. Perhaps it’s time she, too, considered whether she has enough left in the tank.

Not as tired as we are of her!
I’m reminded of the Roald Dahl children’s book The Twits where he says “ If a person has ugly thoughts, it begins to show on the face. And when that person has ugly thoughts every day, every week, every year, the face gets uglier and uglier until it gets so ugly you can hardly bear to look at it.”
The ugliness is surely shining out of Sturgeons face these days.

What a mess the scotgov are in, words fail me

These stories are finally all over the papers, the TV and the internet, and I think it’s in no small part down to the efforts of the Rev. Thanks for not letting this madness go unreported, even if it has made you look like a “crazy conspiracy theorist” to those who weren’t paying attention.

Ian McCubbin

Well researched Stu. Can’t see by justification for this very flawed legislation. These revealings would suggest seriously dangerous individuals are taking advantage of a flawed law to give them freedom and or easier custody. Just hope it does cause the SNP many problems. Let’s hope to it finally ends Sturgeons failed leadership.

Alison

She looks like she isn’t sleeping well. I’d like to think it was her conscience keeping her awake but it’s hard to believe she has one.

What is driving Sturgeon’s lunacy here?

My bet is on Murrell and the mind boggles as to what’s going on behind closed doors.

Sturgeon will almost certainly come out as a lesbian (possibly even as male identifying) once she steps down as FM.

It’s one thing to have a kinky private life but to foist it upon the nation is criminal.

Jim+Thomson

Trying to remember which things to conveniently forget takes its toll.

The journalist couldn’t keep up the pretense of using “she/her” pronouns for this psycho (Burns) beyond the first occurrence.

Jesus, how has it taken so f***ing long for the mass media to wake up to this insanity?

Frank Black

The comparison to Arden in New Zealand is a bit much. She was actually the leader of an actual country. Sturgeon is just the colonial governor of some impotent, is-it-a-country-isnt-it-a-country colonised provincial backwater.

My wife (who isn’t a politics anorak like myself) pronounced last night that “the First Minister is crazy”. Difficult to debate that.

George Ferguson

Sometime ago the FM said she would know when it was time to go. A few trusted friends were to approach her. This is when the FM should rely on those friends the most. Six years of debate about GRR and we are left with a blank sheet of paper. Six years of debate about Named Person and we were left with with a blank sheet of paper. How can any Scottish Institution like SPS say they were ahead of the Law in their decision making process. The GRRB is in legal limbo. Nicola should go tomorrow and take the GGRB with her.

At the Scottish Trans Alliance conference, transwoman and father of 7 Becky Kaufmann, who works for them, advised a workshop that they were on very friendly terms with the Scottish Prison service and frequently visited. Kaufmann had been a prison officer in the US before emigrating to the UK.

She is not looking as tired as I am—- of her.

I cannot believe the damage she has done to the Indy movement and women in general. It may well be as Mr Flynn said at “the end of the decade” before we are even able to regain what we have lost due to this debacle.

She is now showing clear evidence of a narcissistic personality disorder herself.

Jacqueline

My question is: how is nicoliar going to row back from this?

Call me cynical, but I just can’t see her suffering that much either.

Plenty dosh and property all over the shop.

Oops sorry I forgot…a lovely ‘untired’ looking lavender waiting for her at home. Cooking the tea apparently.

Good luck ya fannies!

The transfer of violent, crazed nutters like Tiffany Scott was probably timed to co-incide with (what they hoped would be) the Scottish Parliament’s Gender Recognition Reform bill becoming law.

God knows how many are on the list for transfer. And God knows how many more male convicts would start pretending to be women to get on the self-ID band wagon.

And because they’ll be classed as actual women, once they started raping and assaulting female inmates all we’d hear about would be stories in the press like “a woman has attacked another woman in a women’s prison” or official statistics being reported like “sexual assaults by women have increased 800% in women’s prisons.”

No wonder they’re having to close down Cornton Vale for renovation – they’ll be needing all that extra space to house the influx of male rapists.

B*stards.

I can’t believe Nicola Sturgeon still has the nerve to call herself a feminist – she’s the biggest threat to women’s safety in our lifetimes. “Fake to her fingertips” right enough – thanks Neil for that one.

Republicofscotland

I couldn’t give a toss how tired looking Sturgeon the Judas is, we must get her and her rapist/paedo enabling MPs/MSPs out of office along with the perverted Greens.

They want to turn Scotland into a degenerates paradise, one where real women and children are fearful of entering women only safe spaces. One where convicted rapists and paedos can enter a women’s prison simply by proclaiming that they self identify as a woman.

Just get them out, before another woman or child is raped or worse.

Vote Aba, Join Alba protect our women and children by removing the SNP and Greens from office.

Ruby

My definition of ‘trans people’ is men with a fetish.

Sturgeon is a hero to men with a fetish.

gender dysphoria is just another name for Autogynephilia

Autogynephilia is defined as a male’s propensity to be sexually aroused by the thought of himself as a female.

I know the term ‘trans people’ includes women but I just cant go there at the moment. It’s all too tragic.

John Main

But thanks to the SNP, now it’s in all the papers and on the teatime news bulletins

But not on WGD, which has had to start its coronation diversions early in order to cover up the real news. Gonna be innarestin to see how he keeps that up until the summer.

Getting some traction BTL though. In summary, it’s all a devious plot to tarnish the saintly Nikla.

What is driving Sturgeon’s lunacy here?

It’s important to remember it’s not just Nicola Sturgeon, and it’s not just the SNP. The Tories are pushing their own disastrous and unwanted gender laws, including one on “conversion therapy”, which is meant to make it illegal to try to talk vulnerable people out of identifying as the opposite sex. (It will still be legal to actively encourage confused teenagers to explore transgenderism, naturally)

There’s a huge amount of international (mainly American) money, power and coordination behind the transgender agenda. Scotland is just unlucky enough to find itself downstream of this stuff, at a time when we also have the most useless political class we have ever seen in our nation’s history.

I doubt Nicola or anyone else in the SNP is intelligent enough to understand why they suddenly “believe” absurdities they’d have laughed at just a few short years ago when it was fodder for Little Britain sketches, or what the intended goal of radical gender politics might be. All they know is, woke opinions are prestige opinions among the shiny, happy, TED talk-giving elites they’d dearly love to join. You might as well ask the dug why he has to bark when he hears the doorbell.

Nicola see, Nicola do. But this is what political “leaders” do in the 21st century: make sure you never get what you voted for.

It needs to take out the whole of the SNP – even those who voted against the GRR. None of them have had the guts to stand up to the gender loonies and insist that the party concentrate on independence. Where were the calls from them to take our cause to the EU over indy?

The entire stable needs cleared out, limed and disinfected. None of them have had anything to do with independence for years anyway – so they won’t be missed.

So reports from Stasi HQ say that Sturgeon is in a complete mess over this. She is being extremely short tempered with staff and in cabinet meetings. She is determined to push this through but even Robison, who is now totally drained, is reluctant to take the s35 to court.

There is going to be a reshuffle in May with Robison likely to ‘stand down’ as a cab sec and replaced by either Todd or Gilruth. Humza is being moved out of health in a swap with Angus Robertson. It finished Humza’s ambitions and ‘Air miles’ Angus will have to do some work for a change to keep his own intact.

Sturgeon is obsessed with Ash Regan and the spads and comms teams will be doubling down on briefing against her in the next few weeks. She is now being viewed as a serious challenger with huge support from grass root members now that most have shifted from Forbes due to her recent inaction on the GRR. Forbes is meant to be on mat leave, but she has been on maneuvers recently with a few reports of her still being involved in decisions and briefings. She could have issued a statement or resigned however she made a pact with Sturgeon that she would not intervene as long as the GRR had gone through. However she has delayed her return due to the continued running sore that the GRR has presented and it is unlikely she will return until the worst of this is over.

There is a complete bunker mentality at Bute House and those who have hitched their own careers to Sturgeon, are in a panic. CVs are being updated, allegiances are shifting and the mood is said to be ‘dire beyond belief’.

Profem

Looks like she’s on the sauce to me, probably to drown out the little voice in her head going “mea culpa, mea culpa” which won’t bloody shut up.

LeeM1784

Another well crafted piece Rev.

Sturgeon should be heading for the exit with great urgency but so should the 80+ MSPs who voted for GRR. We cannot allow these people to make our laws if they are so blind to what’s in front of them.

The Scottish Conservatives, if they had acumen, should be calling a motion of no confidence on the FM on Tuesday. Even if it failed it would be good to put names to a vote. That may be step 1. She’s survived a lot of scandal but this one seems too much to survive.

Red+Squirrel

She has no conscience to keep her awake. She knows there’s blood in the water & the sharks are circling. The bags under her eyes are from all the late night shredding she’s doing.

Any chance COPFS might, just might, have an opinion about £600k this week?

Belated answer to yesterdays comment from you,

I have to say like many older commenter’s since rev Stu began almost, I can honestly say been there done that route, signef this snd that, done days and weeks of research,
I wad here when Robert Pheffers was on here.

My ultimate conclusion is that all political parties are in it for the money and the career pensions.

I knew the Snp had been infiltrated as far back in 2017, suspicious prior to that date, but could not confirm it til that year.

It has been a long haul for some of us,
And nowadays with the mantra of regime change just for the Snp party I once again feel the infiltration thoughts coming on,

For me its a job half done, half way house to independence but not quite, forever years of humming and arhhing about how hopeless the next party will be that got in to replace the snp.

Very similar to devolution, some little permissions given to Scotland to shut them up, to keep them dumbed down, but ultimate control lies elsewhere always.

Like many others prior to the newbee commentator’s, ending the Colonial treaty of the union and the management of Scotland is more important than playing and pretending to switch staff parties, while keeping the same boss.
I have not bought into the regime change game, which is a standard method of the establishment. And has happened in most Countries to maintain control.

100%Yes

She’s thinking, how do I get own back on the people who have challenged me. What does Scotland need more Independence or Nicola Sturgeon and being Independent?

Ruby

This is an article about autogynephilia it’s called

Autogynephilia: cure or manage?

I found the following very interesting:

Transition is much vaunted as a ‘cure’ but that could only be for those who wish to do so; persuading Autogynephilic men to follow this path is clearly unethical. Yet I routinely receive communications from men who tell me that they are hectored on to the ‘transition express train’ even by real doctors. There can’t be any justification for such behaviour.

The unethical nature of this policy is especially so since we do not know the actual success of transition in Autogynephilic men, in therapeutic terms, since activists try to block any such research, an aim in which they are succeeding.

In 2018, Bath University axed a research project, which had previously been approved, that aimed to establish a reliable baseline for desistance (detransition). The University withdrew its support in case it might ’cause upset’ in the ‘trans community’. Imagine if psychopaths demanded we stop researching psychopathy for fear of hurting their feelings!

Livionian

It seems only ‘transitioning’ is profitable!

The Tories also have the GRA 2004 without that there would be no GRRB.

The Tories are not the saviours of women’s rights. There is no profit in saving women’s rights.

Willoughby & Eddie Izzard who live in England have both just self-ided as women. Willoughby had a face lift & put on a dress and hey presto he is a woman. Eddie Izzard didn’t do the face lift but just put on a dress and now he is a she.

Neither of them have a GRC but they don’t need one.
All you need to be a ‘woman’ is a dress, a padded bra & some lipstick

The GRA 2004 states to gain a GRC you need to live for a period of two years as a woman.

That is what Willoughby & Izzard are doing.

Same thing with that bloke who calls himself Debbie he doesn’t have a GRC.

You begin to understand why Douglas Ross never lays a hand on her during the Salmond case. She is precious to the unionists as they can see a basket case destroying the movement.

She is being kept in place and protected from a charge of conspiracy because they see she is nuts and has been led up a path they chose.

The MPs and MSPs must move on her and clear the spooks out if they are to retain their jobs.

Only when that penny drops can the movement recover

Not so much tired as that looks like the thousand yard stare you see in those that have been in combat. Bad news for her there is a lot more coming her way so she could always step down except that would collapse the house of cards and throw her fellow conspirators under the bus. ‘allegiances are shifting and the mood is said to be ‘dire beyond belief’.’

I do hope that’s true. It isn’t only Sturgeon who deserves to have sleepless nights it’s also the rest of her cronies.

Ash Regan does provide a glimpse of hope but frankly, I think that the SNP is beyond saving. All of those who have voted for the GRR legislation should lose their seats no matter their motivation for doing so, whether it’s stupidity, protecting their careers, lack of compassion or plain misogyny, there is no mitigation.

Tinto Chiel mentioned this before on another thread and I wonder too if the recent articles on WoS, following the sheer insanity of the SNP on the transgender legislation and its obvious catastrophic revelations re trans prisoners on the women’s estate, could at last have breached the wall of silence of the media on this issue.

The collusion of the media on this subject has helped the progress of the transgender cause politically and allowed it to progress virtually unchallenged except for a few lone blogs on the internet. Gender critical women have been marginalized all without any particular effect on the general public’s awareness.

Something must have broken the dam. I know that when I went to my local shop only 3 days ago I was suddenly confronted by a display facing you as soon as you enter with a bank of newspapers and there were headlines blazing the frontpage news about this scandal. Not all, of course, but this kind of story was no longer tucked away, without photos, on the third page. There it was, emblazoned in huge headlines that no one could miss. It felt as if something had changed.

I hope this is the moment when Sturgeon and her collaborators face the consequences.

Just tweeted this , yes Sturgeon gives all the symptoms of Heterophobia

Nicola Sturgeon, as a person with serious concerns regarding woman’s safety, your deeply offensive and highly hysterical accusations that people objecting to your GR bill are “Transphobic, homophobic, misogynist and racist”, gives the impression of a rather disturbed mind, with an inclination towards heterophobia.

Liz

@smitty hope your mole is accurate.
I’m glad they’re in a panic.

TBH I dont understand why Shona Robison went along with the GRR

She always seemed reluctant, even at the Holyrood celebrations, applauding the fragrant kink sex worker, she looked like she’d rather be anywhere else.

No matter how much they reshuffle, it will not save NS.

As for Katy Forbes, she’s a coward she could have ended her maternity leave to vote against the GRR.

If they’re going for Ash Regan, we must be organised to give her our full support

Lorna Campbell

Ruby: spot on as per. Even if these men are not out-and-out predators, they are fetishists who should be nowhere near women. That is the bottom line. Repeal the 2004 GRA. Strengthen the 2010 Equality Act to biological sex only. No men, transitioned or otherwise in female spaces, rights, jobs, services, etc. Third spaces. Let them larp each other. Above all, the Stonewall fake law that states that self-ID is law now, should see them subject to prosecution. Businesses, too, need to wise up or they will find themselves being sued by women whose human and civil and workplace rights are being violated by well-meaning stupidity.

Rev, the logical conclusion of ‘trans’ is an open-doors conclusion. No other way that it can be handled. Ergo, it has to be crushed at source. The 2004 GRA needs to be repealed and the 2010 EA strengthened. Sturgeon has been carried on the tide of the logic which must follow from these insane policies.

The prominent ‘trans’ is a larping autogynephile who actually stated that he has a cervix. He is dangerous, as all those who believe this utter madness are. Maybe not dangerous in the ways in which these sex offenders are, but there are dangers in following insanity to its logical conclusion, as we see here. Thank you for pointing out the flaws. Yes, Sturgeon does look exhausted and under severe strain. For her own sake, as well as for everyone else’s, she needs to step down.

SusanAHF

I think the SNP is beyond saving. Too many rotten apples – deviants, misogynistic or just cowards, it makes no difference to me. Brilliant yet again Rev, and some excellent insights from @Smitty.

But my joy of watching Sturgeon finally getting some just desserts is tempered by what will follow on from her eventual demise, because unless HR decides or is forced into an early election, we are stuck with every one of the remaining numpties for a further 3 years and 3 months.

Don’t forget, other than the rebellion by Ash Regan and eight others over one issue (GRR), the entire party has meekly followed Sturgeons lead in every other disastrous policy for 8+ years, while all potential dissenters having been removed or de-selected and replaced with woke compliant buffoons and dangerous likely replacements to she/her.

So, what cheer is there in getting a ‘new leader’ and ‘cabinet’, etc. from the present incumbents? In addition to Regan, here is a list of current luminaries: –
Cabinet – Swinney, Sommerville, Yousaf, Forbes, Brown, Gougeon, Robertson, Matheson, Robison (Ministers) – Constance, Adam, Lochhead, McKee, Arthur, Todd, Kevin Stewart, Haughey, Hepburn, McAllan, Gilruth, Whitham, McKelvie, Macpherson, Gray.

While we wait until SNP is destroyed and start again with ALBA, probably taking around 8 years (2031), turn your thoughts to who, from the above list, will be Scotland’s dazzling new leader/deputy leader in the aftermath of Sturgeon.

Meanwhile, the new top dog of the re-arranged ‘gov’ will have to figure how to deal with rebels, decide (or take guidance from higher powers) on tricky issues such as whether to keep LA and SG in the inner circle, and whether to dump Greens, go Minority or keep coalition as is.

Nae happy ending in sight yet … unless Salvo/Lib. Scot has the winning lottery ticket?

Not sure if that would be a bigger problem, knowing that all the believers were still in a position to start smuggling this legislation back into the timetable. @smitty This is very interesting, but not surprising.
I’m on record as having forecast something similar before 2021 elections.

This parliamentary session would go one of 2 ways. We’d either
a: have a referendum and be working towards the first independent Parliament, or
b: there would be no referendum.

If a: SNP would begin splitting into new parties to fight the first Holyrood elections. SNP, as it is now, would have no reason to stay together. First elections would produce the parliament that would write the Constitution.

If b: We enter the next election process in a state of mistrust. If Independence isn’t won before next election the MSPs and MPs will be forming their own groups. They will begin forming the same new groups, and possible parties, as above, but with their focus on gaining independence not in forming the first administration.

Mind you, I’ve also said that there won’t be a referendum. Something will happen that will break the hold of the Union. I think Cameron was still PM when I first suggested this. I’d no idea what might happen, I just felt that something would. No way could I have forecast this mess, could I?

MPs and MSPs are not happy with the lack of progress. They are protecting their own jobs. I don’t doubt that conversations are taking place and new groups are forming. They are getting ready to fight whichever democratic process comes first.

The picture above of the ageing Sturgeon reminded me of the same thing happening to Adolf Hitler.

In the final months of his Reich, he aged dramatically.

Could history be repeating itself?

Hitler knew his ending was going to be suicide, it all became too much, hence the rapid ageing.

I get the feeling Sturgeon knows the end is nigh, and is proving all too much for Darling of Dreghorn.

I personally couldn’t care less how she goes, just as long as she goes.

For all the pain she has inflicted on the people of Scotland, (some far more than others), I lost any sympathy I had for her a very long time ago.

Stuart MacKay @ 5:09pm I doubt any of them would try to throw the dear leader under the bus at they would have to step into the light to do so and a bit like with vampires that is not an attractive option. I can think of one true believer who would be unlikely to survive the unmasking of his partner as one of the alphabet coven and as I only know the ID of three there could be others. Whatever happens in the bigger picture I would like to see the coven unmasked and let the court of public opinion pass judgement on them and the dear leader. As for the trans thing I hope we are nearing the tipping point where once it is in the open the voting public vote these chancers out. What happens in the rest of the Western world is not my concern as we have enough shit to deal with at home. Baby steps.

Ruby

I learned quite a lot from reading this article.

For example I learned who Beth’s clients might be.

Some such men engage the services of trans prostitutes. Many such are Autogynephilic themselves and actually advertise their willingness to participate in ‘dressing’ play and to penetrate their partners, something that their clients, while ‘en femme’ frequently desire.

‘en femme’ that’s another new term I’ve learned.

Its a ‘narcissistic personality disorder’. They only care about themselves.

Autogynephilia is a narcissistic personality disorder that shows similarity to addictive disorders.
Autogynephilia is not, in itself, either immoral or necessarily bad; it is the massive destruction it can cause to the subject’s life and those of the people around him, that we should be concerned about.

Because of the ‘gender recognition act’ it’s not just people who are around them that are experiencing ‘massive destruction’ it’s the entire female population.

Being that they are narcissists they don’t care.

McDuff

Sturgeon has achieved what she set out to do and that is to deflect away from independence and the trans issue has been the perfect vehicle. She has batted the independence ball over the fence ever since she came to power.
She has also damaged those who are genuinely struggling with their gender by making all trans people look seedy in the eyes of the public.
Sturgeon is beyond contempt.

Merganser

David Holden @ 5.56.

Every politician at Holyrood, every police officer in Scotland, every judge and sheriff in Scotland, every lawyer in Scotland, and every journalist in Scotland, know the identities of the alphabetties, and what went on, but we are not allowed to know who they are or what they did to try and stitch up Alex Salmond. The evidence that Alex wanted to adduce to show the conspiracy was not allowed by the judge.

Only the common sense of a mainly female Scottish jury saw that justice was done in the case.

This scandalous state of affairs is a badge of shame hanging round Scotland’s neck. Only when the full picture emerges will the Scottish public realise the lies, deceit, and cover-up which has gone on.

Every MSP, of whatever party, at Holyrood, are complicit in allowing this charade of governance to continue as it has for so many years. They all have an interest in keeping a lid on it so they are not exposed for the charlatans they are, but particularly the cowards in the SNP who want to maintain their cosy lifestyle, so I agree the chance of any decisive action by them to do anything radical is remote, more’s the pity.

Looks like there is still more shit to come yet before we are free.

Maybe not because the current law which is the GRA 2004 states that in order to gain a GRC you must ‘live as woman for a period of two years’ It could be argued that it would be impossible to ‘live as a woman’ in a men’s prison.

So maybe the ‘transwoman’ could sue for not being allowed the right to live as a woman. Being denied human rights.

Interview with Julie Burnell? (not sure of the last name) a genuine feminist who has been crying out the warning signs for some time. She scewers Nicla. The interviewer said, words to the affect of, ‘will she survive this, after all she is synonimous with the Scottish Independence, doesn’t this reflect badly on them.’

Expect that meme to be picked up by the media big time now. After all this scandal could have been broken some time ago.

Meantime shine a light on the halo of Honest John Swinney – that elder statesman and ‘safe pair of hands’ who will likely take over, should Alyn and Angus end up stabbing each other in the front ( as might well suite their personalities).

And when it comes to Honest Johnny, remember

his silence during and after the Alex Salmond stitch up, and a dab hand with the felt tip pen when it comes to Redactions.

His inability to find, or remember, official minutes and e-mails for contracts for the spending of millions of tax payers pounds for ferries and the lack of any enquiry into it (and no cry for him for it to be sorted)

Remember – as deputy leader of the SNP – any voiced, official concern from him over the missing £600,000 of Indy supporters funds. After all he qualified as an accountant, and with decades of political experience, surely he would be deeply concerned about the lack of etiquette with regards financial record keeping, never mind the missappropriating of funds. Aye right, I cannae recall him saying anything about it either.

But mostly remember, he was the Financial heid bummer, until 2015 when he transferred over to Education…. just around the time public funds started being ‘granted’ hand over fist to these woke type ‘charities’ … who then gained access to the schools and all other public service HR and Management structures. If you’re going to shake the money tree, it is so much easier to do so with an educated guide on your side to point you in the right direction, while at the same time no longer being behind the till.

What a stupid, stupid, despicable hill for the indy movement to end up fight on, and yet they are not stupid people, Nicla, Honest John – not stupid by a long chalk.

Prepare now folks for the ‘New Leader’, who will require a Honeymoon period, time to ‘be given a chance’, followed soon after by they ‘have a secret plan’ ‘mustn’t frighten the horses’ ‘listening to the voters’, along with some minor, face saving wee wins engineered by Westminster.

Sadly I suspect a significant number of our self identifying Indy supporters will be more than happy with that auld song.

This is all just madness. Madness, in every possible way. So WHY oh WHY can Sturgeon not see it? Why does she and her ‘trans’ cabal still not understands how utterly, utterly mad crazy this is.

Honestly, I am out of words. Just madness. The Scottish government and SNP have collectively lost the plot. I can think of no other government (not even Tories) who have ever done anything as remotely stupid and dangerous as this. Brexit was, and still is madness, but putting violent serial male rapists and paedophiles into women’s jails????? Absolute grade A lunacy.

It truly beggars belief. That Sturgeon is STILL trying to defend it just shows how far from a grip on reality she now has.

She really needs to step down. For her own good, if nothing else, as she is quite clearly not the full shilling now.

Regarding the case of “Katie Dolatowski”, the provisions of the ‘structured deferred sentence include the criteria of “building their motivation and capacity for positive change.”

A program of structured intervention that could well be defined in some quarters as not being a million miles from ‘conversion therapy’ as defined in a recent document highlighted and detailed in a recent article on this site.

Which raises further questions as to whether such a program would be ruled out of the question should the proposals contained in said document find themselves on the statute book – whether in Holyrood or Westminster? Not to mention what takes priority – the safety of the wider public or the demands of that minority who take advantage to the point of kicking the arse out of the system?

To consider an example of the basic principle here:

A tiny minority of vehicle drivers kick the arse out of it by driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

Yet no one would dream of arguing that:

a) Anyone supporting laws to prevent and deal with such occurrences are suggesting all drivers do the same;

b) There should be no laws which protect the public from those who do;

c) The existence of laws and prohibitions against driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs represents some kind of bigoted attack on ALL drivers & is based on a phobia and hatred towards drivers per se;

d) That anyone who argues for or supports laws and safeguards for the wider public to deal with those who do kick the arse out of the system by driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs is guilty of bigotry and hatred towards drivers and should, as a result, be fair game for death threats, intimidation, bullying, hounding, loss of job/livelihood, public vilification and worse.

Yet, this is in principle the exact stance taken by what are nothing more than special pleading lobby groups arguing against women having the same legal protections against predatory men as the public have against drivers who drive under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

Completely soddin’ barmy.

The Campbell Martin article Dan linked to @6.47 p.m. really hits the mark.

I was in a supermarket today and took a look at the Redtops: wall-to-wall outrage at violent rapists in female prisons. Stu’s campaign has definitely had an effect.

The wee guy behind me in the queue asked me, “Who could put a cross against the SNP?” after I commented we lived in hard times at the moment. I was a bit puzzled at first but his later highly emotional comments made it clear he meant the “GRA”, as he called it.

Something has changed and I suspect the decision has been made that Nicola has poisoned the well of independence sufficiently for the plug to be pulled as and when required by the establishment. This perhaps explains her appearance and increasingly flaky behaviour.

Incidentally, I came across a quotation yesterday by George Bush Senior regarding his son’s attachment to the fruit-loop Neo-Cons he empowered. Even GB Senior called them the “crazies in the basement” and I thought it a pretty good description of the weirdos who have hijacked the SNP party and government, to all our detriment.

Where do we go from here? If AS has any ammunition, it has to be used at the right time for the good of the movement.

The Telegraph’s image is at 960px × 600px – even with the quite hefty crop, it would still need resizing, and whenever you crop a photo and save it, you always lose some definition no matter what editing package you use. That’s the ironic reason for the “difference” – it’s the Dreadnought’s picture which has been changed from the original, not the one posted on here.

Sorry sensation seekers, nothing to see here.

Ref Neale Hanvey’s 10 minute Bill and the 7 years between Referendum’s… he’s giving nothing away. What it does is highlight an existing international and British standard already in play… therefore, if it’s good enough for Northern Ireland, what possible arguement can they have, that it’s not good enough for Scotland.

Likewise, since the last one was in 2014, we could have another Indyref tomorrow since its been 8 years since the last one.

Incidentally this is for a Referendum and does not (cannot) impact on plebiscite GE or HE- that is why they hate this idea so much, because they cannot block it.

Ref Holyrood and the MSP’s voting for this wicked GRR…. I’d like to see certain subjects grouped or labeled for their impact/importance – eg Safety of Women and Children – call it a Class A subject.

When a Class A subject is then put before Holyrood for a new Bill, or for amendment of an existing Bill, all evidence presented on the issue must be signed for by all MSP’s as having read it. They could not claim at a later date they were unaware. A trial Judge cannot do so, Police cannot do so, Teachers and Social Workers cannot do so – they have a legal obligation to evaluate such evidence – failure to do so can be culpable and a neglect of duty with legal consequences.

All evidence must be of an acceptable quality – ie wild and false claims of being the most put upon wee souls in existence, must be backed up by hard data – or not allowed credence.

Witness evidence should be taken by impartial employees – not politicians with no experience of doing so… and clear biases towards the outcome.

Obviously not all subjects would merit this level of diligence, but some most certainly do and should be dealt with in this way.

It’s crazy that those making the laws, can demonstrate bias, disregarding of direct evidence, failure to scrutinise, blocking of witnesses, etc, etc when it comes to formulating laws in our country… and when the tide comes in, they can plead plausible deniability and say they were unaware of that bit. Scot free, a bit like our paedophiles.

Likewise I think a wee law introduced that states all politicians, when they leave office, will still have to declare all their financial interests and incomes to public scrutiny, accompanied by a ban on them working for a full 10 years after office for certain companies – Big Pharma, Weapons Manufacturers, etc – might start to make the revolving door policy a bit harder.

Does teachers and doctors talking about trans issues more make children and young people think they are trans when they aren’t?

From 16 onwards, after further assessment, this can include cross-sex hormones…

…contrary to narratives that young people are being ‘fast-tracked’ into medical transition, waiting lists for these services are now over two years long – leaving young people and their families without any support. These waiting lists must be tackled urgently.”

There is a site documenting all the trans identifying offenders in UK jails, it stresses that this in not like the average man or women representative of the population, but does point out that a lot of the Trans inmates are in for sexual offences and crimes of violence.
TransCrimeUK very sobering reading.
Such as info that the serial killer Steven Wright was amongst other things a AGP /cross dresser if you are still catching up.
It is more than coincidence that the push at least as it is framed for the mainstream media around the World that trans identifying are more targetted as victims than any other group. It is actually a falsehood that has been turned into a mantra. As has in the case of the grooming and setting on the conveyor belt to irreversibly damaged youngsters that if their claim to be trans ir body dysmorphia is not appeased then they are likely to commit suicide. This is not just emotional blackmail towards the parents it is a cri inal blqckmail as it is false. In fact as detransitioned young people have been trying to say to legislator, the damage of puberty blockers, cross sex hormones and drastic butchery leaves them with extreme medical and phycological problems that do lead some to take their own lives.
Women and children are being betrayed by society to pander to the terror cult that doesnt represent the tiny minority who before for whatever reason as mature adults did feel the need to live as the opposite sex.
As for policy well turn a stone and you often as not find a paedophile connected somewhere.
link to thetimes.co.uk

Lorne

@ Gregor spot on

The general public everywhere are not aware of the damage to children being groomed to think they are trans, that certainly sets them on a path that with the drivers of social media giants and echo chamber of platforms leads them to so called experts.
Even if they are confused the so called experts are lobbyists for puberty blockers, cross sex hormones and medical sterilization and or mutilation thst is called sex reassignment.
Capture a generation then you have more foot soldiers for the movement, you have medically dependent damaged and compliant workers brainwashed and lost. No wonder WEF is in the frame.
This is the beginning of the mission statement for Scottish Trans Network…”About Scottish Trans
We work to improve gender identity and gender reassignment equality, rights and inclusion in Scotland.”
Identify .. more or as many children as possible…as in America.

Lorne

Gregor
I wouldn’t take you facts from Stonewall plenty of other info to the contrary.
The grooming of young children is approved in primary schools and heading for nursery age children in order to herd as many down the medical sterilization route as possible. E
Even with the Tavistock now shut and Mermaids under investigation; children and parents are still being urged on trans charity websites and through the social networks, even girls recruit each other.. to start puberty blockers as early as possible and given vocab to challenge the NHS in how to demand free treatment for all aspects of medical butchery.. there are a lot of vested interests involved.

A multi pronged assault on young people and society.
It’s not a minority help service it is a with social media and drug companies et all a lobbying group to recruit.
With the pyramidic structure that includes governments and legislators police prisons popular culture influencers and the shock troops
The question should be to what end?

Many nationalists not only reject extreme trans ideology but see it as a distraction from the SNP’s founding mission. They can’t understand why their leader is not pursuing a second independence referendum with the same energy and urgency…”:

Not even members of the press are allowed to request follow-up questions while the live stream is fed to Scots through the Scottish Goverment Twitter feed.

Scotsman (06/02/2023): SNP rebels should call Nicola Sturgeon’s bluff to save their cause:

“…Humility is not the only attribute absent from the First Minister’s personal strengths, so too is a willingness to find consensus, show contrition or craft a workable compromise. These are gaping holes in a national leader’s job description. To borrow from one of the greatest movies ever made…

So devout is its personality cult, so monolithic and tectonically slow is the SNP to accept its own faults – and so at odds is Scotland with modern governance standards by allowing a husband and wife team as leader and chief executive of its governing party…

This is Stalinism on stilts…

There were nine SNP MSPs who put their principles before their party loyalty and voted against Sturgeon’s GRR Bill in December, all of whom represent a constituency rather than a list seat, but how far do their principles go?..

The context the SNP rebels operate under is as simple as it is stark – the First Minister represents an existential political threat to both the SNP and the cause of independence.

A-Z-Animals: Phoenix Spirit Animal Symbolism & Meaning:

“Anything in this life is possible when you have the passion of a phoenix…

What Is the Symbolism of the Phoenix Spirit Animal?

The phoenix spirit animal symbolizes hope, rebirth, and transformation. The phoenix also has associations with several other symbols. All of these symbols represent different aspects of this mythical bird…

The first symbol is fire. The phoenix can rise from the ashes, which represents the power of transformation.

The second symbol is the sun. The phoenix is often seen as a solar symbol, representing rebirth and new beginnings.

The third symbol is yin and yang…
