There Will Be Adequate Food

Posted on July 25, 2018 by

We’ve just been leaked this short clip of a secret UK government exercise preparing for the week after Brexit.

We’re sure everything will be fine and no drastic measures will be required.

It’s all fine.

It’s all fine.

It’s all fine.

It’s all fine.

It’s all fine.

It’s all fine.

It’s all fine.

It’s all fine.

It’s all fine.

IT’S ALL FINE.

In this big red bus, presumably.

Still, as long as things don’t get TOO serious.

But we’ve just checked, and in fact everything’s still fine.

Phew, eh?

The post is bang on because I have personal experience of one of the biggest warehouses in Scotland, RAF Edzell being completely soaked up by the Clair Ridge offshore construction overspill.
This place is huge, around ( guestimate) 20 football fields.
Where more warehousing to “stockpile” is coming from I have no clue

After Thatcher and Major came Blair who illegally bombed the Middle East to bits and Brown who destroyed the world economy. Cost £Billions. Caused the worst migration crisis since 11WW. Now Brexit. The unionists policies trying to bring the world economy down again. Sanctioning and starving people. Less taxes for the wealthiest. They could not make a bigger mess. A shambles. Armageddon. One as bad as the other. Unbelievable.

Nobody is to know what medicines are in short supply so we can say its all the hypertensives and kill off half the old folk which will benefit the NHS as well as DWP.
The starvation will kill off the obesity epeidemic that is costing the NHS so much and when we do get round to sensible rationing then like in ’39-45 people will be so much fitter as well.
All we need now is a Beast from the East on and after 29 March next to get rid of the homeless problem and the new leaner sleeker Britain will be good to go

Take us to the edge (apparently), then suddenly May comes back with the worst deal imaginable and……. it’s hailed as a great victory.

Something has already been stitched up with the EU IMO. It’s just such a crap deal for the UK that we have to be scared into thinking we dodged a far worse bullet so maybes, just maybes it will be accepted. It will be the softest of deals, May will capitulate (cos she has no choice) and it will be dressed up as a great victory to save face. Customs union in all but name. Paying the EU the same (or more) and with no place at the table. We go from being a full voting member of the EU to being an EU colony. Thank you, Mr Cameron.

Good luck with that one. 🙂

@Liz g at 8.18 on previous thread but you’re now on this one!

I agree the word “independence” should be less prominent. Why not “Take back control” instead! Scotland has as much right as England to run our united kingdom and is entitled to withdraw from same without asking permission from Westminster.

But how to get a majority of Scottish voters to agree when we’re not allowed our own broadcasting? There is no time now to go through international courts to get permission for a Scottish TV/radio – Brexit horrors are with us NOW so we must have a referendum declared now, to be held in 2 months time.

That is long enough for our campaign [if Rev has the WBB print run set up!] but too short for Westminster to get seriously dangerous – I hope.

I shall be at the Inverness march [with Yes Ullapool & Lochbroom banner] hoping to convince Scot Gov that NOW is the Time for the referendum. It is the first march I’ve been on in my life – I hope I won’t need to go on many more.

If Nicola had not spectacularly squandered a once in a 1000 years golden opportunity by wasting more than a year flogging a dead horse – a separate deal for Scotland which was never going to happen – Scotland would have been preparing to be an independent country as a member of the EU in March 2019.

Rock (16th January 2017 – “The flexibility of figures”):

“If Brexit happens, there is a 0% chance of the colony of Scotland remaning a member or getting a special deal.

Anyone, including Nicola, who gives the impression that Scotland could somehow influence the Brexit terms or get a special deal is being dishonest.

Nicola should have spent the last seven months preparing for independence rather than wasting time on pretending that there could be a separate Scottish deal.

When will the BBC, STV and newspapers start imparting what we’ve read / watched on here, which is basically just the tip of the catastrophic iceberg. Most people out there are totally disinterested in tariffs, WTO etc and just switch off. They have no idea how hellish it’s going to be for them in their everyday lives, especially here in Scotland. How much of what’s stockpiled (totally unrealistic) down south will ever make its way to Scotland? And if we get dragged out of the EU we’ll no doubt be competing with NIreland to our detriment too.

Then if Westminster gets total control we’ll be fracked to death, our NHS will be sold off, farms bought out, GM crops grown, more subs at Faslane / accidents / nuclear waste contamination and rotten food from the US and elsewhere will see our health and food exports decline. And the REST such as heightened surveillance, human rights / workers rights decimated, sectarianism promoted etc, etc, etc. What a bl**dy nightmare.

Jacob Rees-Mogg, himself, has stated that the no deal Brexit that he wants will lead to a further 50 years of austerity (austerity as we know it now X 10). That is the Mr Mogg who has some of his millions invested in places like Russia and the Irish Republic. No austerity measures for him or his ilk, who are totally intent on destroying this country to line their own pockets. No analysis whatsoever carried out pre-the EU referendum. No plan A, B, C or D. No thought given to the practicalities for the plebs. And all of this on top of a country (England) that’s already up to its neck in debt, imports £131 billion more than it exports and every institution, Police, Education, NHS, Prison Service etc, is currently on its last legs.

Well I can see the plebs down south going mental if they have problems acquiring food and medicine. Look at how they reacted when the Poll Tax was introduced. Until now the Tories have targeted vulnerable people such as foreigners, the sick, elderly and disabled. They’ll not know what’s hit them when the able-bodied rise up.

We won’t forget either that the MSM in Scotland (especially the key players) have taken the Mundell stance: lying through their teeth to protect the despicable Union at devastating cost to our wonderful country and its people. Hell mend them.

This week, quite a few signposts passed on the road to authoritarian state, if not fascism. I wouldn’t be surprised if they follow Trump who left the UN Human Rights Council.

As I’ve said on here previously, I like to see what ordinary folk down south are saying, it’s also noticeable I’m getting a lot of pro EU folk following me. I’m always flying the saltire, and saying they need to come up. They feel relief to see we are like them, and horrified at events. Lots say they are on the hunt for a job up here. More say they will move up if we become independent. We feel disgusted, but it must be awful if you are of our mindset to be down there.

Not sure when we will get to the sunlit uplands, cos this sure as shit ain’t them!

BTW, Alyn Smith advised to calm down about no deal, as it was a ploy to ensure acceptance of a rubbish deal. I responded saying – I see your point, and you are in the know, but it’s not like the EU to blow smoke, because they are stepping up prep for no deal.

Send old JC off to Washington to appease the bloated Orange One. Mission two fold. Get him to stop shouting about EU ripping them off, and let the UK know they can ram it.

    They are just too clever.

As the impact of Brexit starts to hit home, perhaps with the stockpiling of food and medicines finally making an impact, we might have to soften out stance, emphasise, and even sympathise. People can start getting genuinely frightened.

And now for something compeltely different. Via Cowie’s feed, anyone want to know what our own favourite David Torrance has been up to in his new job? Here’s one:

    Well here’s another thought…
There’s the … Our Queen right or wrong mob
    There’s us….. Half of Scotland holding strong…
We are that half of Scotland holding because we can see all the positives already.
We need the People who aren’t all that sure about Holyrood and only Holyrood running thing’s.
They want to keep the 2 Government option.
They don’t really get that Westminster is an actual threat to them….
We should mibbi look at scaring the living shit out of them to choose to stay with Westminster..
To encourage them to get as far away as possible from that administration.
That would have looked extreme in 2014… But not anymore!!!

I put Torrance’s name in the search engine and it looks as though he’s been very busy, such as released a paper /s on “Strengthening the Union.”

When I was a wee, pre-school laddie, getting into mischief around the farmyard, my old Grandfather had a saying.

Now the old man detested farm tractors and believed that the use of horses and the incorporation of horse manure and the straw used in the animals stalls, into the soil was the organic way to go. BTW: He was right and the use of chemicals does nothing for the soil condition and it gets ever more like clay.

Anyway, when the farm hands attempted to chase me from whatever mischief I was up to the old man would say, “Leave the wee laddie alain, it keeps him oot o the road o the cairts”.

So I think perhaps we could, “aa leave Rock alain and keep him oot o the road o the cairts”

Daniel Hannan has been a Tory MEP for SE England since 1999 representing himself mainly, I suspect, but also those who oppose the EU.

Is it not a bit early to be stockpiling. What about best before dates?

    Best before 29th March 2019.

The big dilemma for Scotland is where to stockpile food since the basement is still full of real IrnBru.

Simple really. Store food. After Brexit, tins of IrnBru will be used as currency.

I learned survival techniques watching George Romero Zombie movies.

See, I’m in the John Wyndham school of survival and you won’t catch me running round a post apocalyptic Britain without a Land Rover, bolt cutters and a Triffid gun.

I see on TV that The NHS in the UK, which I think is better interpreted as NHS England has one unfilled post for every 10 jobs.

Not only have the Tory Cuts hindered them at every turn, the First ever Junior Doctors Strike was a disaster, and the number of EU medical applicants has fallen by 90% as England makes it clear they are not welcome, even if it means their own premature death.

Well Done Tories! The sale of the NHS has made another great leap forward and your filthy rich supporters are salivating.

I’d like our English Tories Red and Blue to remember this when they need to sell their home to fund a life saving operation.

    You deserve it!

I have a little money in a bond that is maturing and which paid a derisory rate of interest over the last year. I have now been invited to re-invest in bond options with even worse returns. Should I instead be using the money to buy a shed for my back garden, which I should fill with tinned food and various medications. What rate of return should I expect on such a venture and over what period of time – while keeping ‘use before’ dates in mind?

    Nobody is more important always:

We all try to say and do the right thing most of the time, well most of us do and we sympathise with our relatives and good friends south of the border at this time of unmitigated mentalness, but, Scotland and Northern Ireland didn’t vote for this mess we’re in now because most of us had a look at it a bit more closely than our friends and relatives in the south and decided it was a stupid idea so let’s not do it

Once again in my lifetime as in every time in my lifetime England has ignored every word and deed by the people of my country, now you could say they’re only looking after the welfare of their own country and that’s fine but it always always ends up an imposition on our country that we don’t want then you have to come to the conclusion the people of England either through their own apathy ignorance or stupidity choose to ignore the wishes of everybody else because they don’t care what happens to everybody else and if you do come to that conclusion…..then…

Why oh what do we waste our time on worrying about a nation of people who couldn’t give a monkeys about our Nation and why oh why should we show them politeness in any shape or form when indeed we should be displaying our absolute contempt to every single one of them for their choice of inaction apathy ignorance over their recent and continuing appalling behaviour and then compounding it by demanding that we stick with them once again despite their appalling decision making and behaviour with with never an apology ever, and their only justification for themselves is that it doesn’t matter what goes wrong we won a war together so just get on with it because

That’s arrogance beyond imagination and the country and the people of England by these very actions and behavioural traits should condemn themselves to eternal dislike by every civilised people everywhere

Everybody is more imperative sometimes but nobody is more important always

Ken, there’s no such thing as British Rail – the Tories privatised it. And alcohol on trains is fine, I enjoy a tipple when I am travelling; not everyone gets pissed. Get the polis to attend to those type of drinkers and leave us sensible drinkers alone.

    Cheers!
