Oh Oh.

Is it just me or has MI5 via GCHQ sabotaged the second video clip

stonefree

Good to Know….

Andrew Fernie

If we’re all part of the same family, I can only assume Cameron is the kind of abusive spouse you end up having to take a restraining order out against. He tells if you that if you just stay everything will be better, but once you’re back in the house it’s all control freakery and emotional abuse.

Lesley-Anne

Q. When is Four nations NOT four nations?

A. Whenever Dave “I’m a teapot” Cameron says so and not before! 😀

Donald MacKenzie

Aaww! Right! Okay! Mmm!

I love being part of such a close-knit family!

blackhack

One of those families from the 1950’s where the children were seen and not heard comes to mind…

jason

the second clip in the video is all muffled but we all know what that twat said anyway!

Gary45%

Going by Cameron’s face, Fluffy has to be hiding in the lectern. NumNumNum.

One_Scot

It does not matter how many times or what angle I look at it from, I always come to the same conclusion. Is it really feasible that so many Scots could have been so stupid as to have voted a ‘No’ majority last year.

mushypea

Today I stumbled into a rather relevant quote by a contemparary Russian satirist Zhvanetsky:
‘If somebody is licking your ass, don’t relax just yet, it’s only a lubricant’

Geoff Huijer

Second part ok for me; well ok in that I could see and hear it.

What tosh; and people believed/believe this?

Skip_NC

Second clip is coming through loud and clear here in sunny North Carolina.

caz-m

The love bombing division from south of the border is disappearing before our eyes.

By the time the next Referendum comes round, they’ll be that desperate to get rid of us, they’ll offering to drive us to the polling stations themselves.

Sooner rather than later, I hope.

heedtracker

“Vote NO, We are four nations of equals”, Scots are thieves trying to steal our country so, “We will govern as a party of one nation, one united kingdom”

Historic brutal fraud on Scotland. But Britain is England and they were never going to give up control of a third of their country by being anything other than lying, fear mongering conmen.

nodrog

Yesterday was Bastille Day , what a great day to usurp the bourgeoisie’s fox hunting activities. I have begun to feel both yesterday and today that the tide is slowly turning in our favour. The 56 are doing us proud and PM Cameron’s grasp of simple arithmetic is failing him. Keep after the Frenchgate memo and keep nipping at Carmichael’s heels. INDYREF2 2017 methinks.

Donald Urquhart

The second clip is coming through fine here in the Labour Heartlands of Edinburgh South.

However, it cuts out after he says ” we will govern as one nation” and before he adds ” England”

Is it just me, or is Scotland feeling more and more like a country under occupation?

Wulls

Nope…. Couldn’t hear the second clip.
Got the idea though.

Tackety Beets

Just read the Banner from the BBC , agggh FFS

PM : REAL CHANGE IS SCOTLAND’s FOR THE TAKING

Influence or what ? Duped ?

Astonished !

HandandShrimp

I still haven’t had my phone call saying they love me from last year.

Dear deranged unionists, we are here (for the moment), it is what you wanted, so you can sodding lump it.

Jim

The video sound was okay but I have one problem with videos uploaded on here; they always end with a picture of that prick, Michael White.

Laverock

I can’t hear the second part either. But never mind, I have got the message loud and clear.

Gary 45% @ 1.36 oh dear my poor mind’s eye is scorched with unwanted imagery

Jim

Sorry for the sweary word but I couldn’t afford a decent vocabulary. 🙂

heedtracker

Even their The VOW fraud’s been used to attack Scotland. Smith Commsion had all kinds of UKOK unionists bleating away at how the Vow wasnt needed and proud Scot buts dont want it.

Vote NO for our The Vow, devo-max, near federal UK, Holyrood most powerful devolved parliament in the world…

And so Smith Commission farce only gives Britnats and unionjocks, furious Slab all they need to beat Scotland to a pulp with and its all down to far right henchman, like this git, from Kent

link to notesfromnorthbritain.wordpress.com

eg.

“FFA was once known as “devo-max” but I’m glad that phrase has fallen out of favour, for FFA is no scheme of devolution at all. It is a form of independence-lite. It would destroy the Union as we know it. It would mean an end to the pooling and sharing of risks and resources upon which the Union is based. And it would mean an effective reversal of last year’s referendum result.”

Isn’t “devo-max” what shysters like Cammers, Milliband, Gordon Gordon, Daily Record all begged and pleaded vote NO at Scotland for?

See how it works.

The second clip is coming through fine here in the Labour Heartlands of Edinburgh South.

AKA Red Morningside

Agip

Second part very quiet, almost silent, on iPhone 6. First part very nice and clear though.

Luigi

Does the New Scotland Bill have to be ratified at Holyrood? I appreciate that the Scottish government will take any new powers it can get, but perhaps it may, for once, be interesting to refuse them on account that they are useless (and not what was promised anyway), thus avoiding a potential tax trap. I think the people would understand.

indigo

2nd clip seemed slightly distored, 1st one crystal clear – using firefox to watch

Tackety Beets

Jim @ 2.10

” ………….. Prick Michael White ”

A skellt ma tea a ooer e fleer !

Joemcg

2nd clip garbled. Is this a phone in competition? If so I think I know what he said on the second clip. What do I win? Please let it be a hardback gold embossed Smith commission report!

Helena Brown

Tackety Beets, time we took it.

mushypea

The second clip was also garbled on my phone browser (Safari), but worked fine on a PC (Chrome).

Grouse Beater

“We are four nations” – terrific.

I can chuck that at the oiks who claim Scotland sold its nationhood when it signed up to Westminster and the UK.

DerekM

Two faced posh lying tory twerp alert(sound of sirens going off)

So change is there for the taking is it, hmmm well we will take independence thank you very much.

One_Scot

Just read a tweet from some twat called Jon gaunt protesting that he is not racist against Scots, but then uses the phase ‘Tatan Tosspots’ to describe them.

I am no expert but surely it is illegal for people with an IQ lower than 5 within ten feet of a computer keyboard.

scottieDog

2nd clip unintelligible

thewaterbeastie

Second clip silent/wind noise (perhaps appropriately) on Internet Explorer, but first clip crystal clear.

Helena Brown

Sorry but I could not hear one word. I may have a deafness problem but I somehow do not think it was that.

call me dave

“If you can fake sincerity you’ve got it made” Many have said it,
politicians like Dave did it along with Gordon.

Both also believed the other adage about fooling the people some of the time, seems to me like they did.

PS:

Andy Burnham wants HS2 to come to Scotland 🙂

He also flies a few other kites too but they depend on which way the wind blows!

Oh Dear,

Now Between the fox hunting(Non debate) and wee Mhairi Black’s speech yesterday, i think we may have pissed of Dave and his mates a wee bit.
😉

Now what was the expression that Jack and Victor used in Still Game

Oh that’s right

Get it Right Up Ye! 🙂

JimF

The second clip has a phase reversal on one channel.

If you only listen to left or right it all sounds fine.
If you listen to combined mono then the second clip disappears or becomes very quiet and reedy.
If you listen in stereo the second clip sounds like it’s behind your head.

The edit needs remade, just take sound from the left only and it will be fine.

EVEL debate has just commenced in the Commons.

call me dave

The speaker is in for a long afternoon it seems toiling already.

Gaffaws all round as Grayling oozes with prentendy respect for all Scots especially the SNP. It was never intended that Scottish MPs would not be able to vote on any bill.

SNP MPs are cannon fodder directed from Edinburgh not able to think for themselves opines a tory.

One_Scot

Clealy someone has stolen the ‘r’ key fom my keyboad

DerekM

works perfectly fine for me.

Just listened to it again(i know i am a glutton for punishment),the first time i heard it but never picked up on it.

He says we are 4 nations in a single country ehh that doesnt even make sense, since nationhood is country, what a pillock and thats after an Eton schooling what the hell are they teaching them down there, remedial English?

Dave what you meant is we are 4 nations in a group of islands, maybe his parents should ask for their money back lol

Dunce cap for the PM

boris
John from Fife

O/T I agree that if the new Scotland Bill ” powers” are a trap for the Scottish Government they should decline to accept them.
Also despite the MSM hysteria on the SNP fox hunt decision they did not actually vote so did not break their unofficial no vote on English laws policy.

call me dave

Graying flapping in the swamp as he tries to identifies ‘bills’ that don’t effect the Barnett affect in all the other non-England nations in the UK.

Here we go. EVEL debate.

Thanks.

Just heard tory boy explain SNP already dont vote on English affairs, so what’s the problem with EVEL and they are “giving” powers, Northern Ireland get corp tax etc

So why are tory boys going for EVEL and why cant our imperial masters “give” their Scotland region corp tax?

And that’s enough for one day.

gerry parker

Luigi at 2:25.

And here’s their very own MP.

Scotland wont be “given” corporation tax like Northern Ireland because Northern Ireland’s not burdened with a £1.5 trillion offshore oil and gas industry, that’s worse than worthless if Scotland took control of it and the UKOK industrial jewel in the crown, when England has total control of it.

scottieDog

Where’s the contradiction?
They are trying to rule as a party of one nation (England) over one United Kingdom of 4 Nations.

shiregirl

Watching bbc parliament debating EVEL

Where the hell are the Tories – and Labour MP’s who feel so strongly about it? It’s a full turnout from SNP, but a handful of tories….

It’s not gone unnoticed.

And Robert Jenrick – what a eejit he is.

I’ll await someone more aware to explain!

Just watched Pete Wishart doing what he does best … DESTROY the tories with fantastic humour and clearer understanding of the affects of EVEL than any of the tories have.

Well done Pete! 🙂

Andy-B

I think most folk realise by now that the Tories, intend to treat Scotland with hostile intent, of course infront of the camera it’s a different story.

If David Cameron says one thing in reality he means the opposite.

I shall call this devilsh phenomenon “Camerons Conundrum.”

Meanwhile a recent poll shows that at least 60% of Scots want another independence referendum within 10 years.

Michty…Wales and the Welsh seem to be at an even more disadvantageous position according to Ian Lucas labour Welsh MP.

At least we have a chance, if we take it, to get out!

msean

This debate made me wonder why there are more Scottish Tories elected in England than there are in Scotland. They of course wouldn’t stand a chance here of getting elected,so maybe have to take their right wing neo liberal extremist idealogical views off to where they will be welcomed.

Petra

@ shiregirl says at 4:41 pm ”Watching bbc parliament debating EVEL. Where the hell are the Tories – and Labour MP’s who feel so strongly about it? It’s a full turnout from SNP, but a handful of tories…. It’s not gone unnoticed. And Robert Jenrick – what a eejit he is.”

Shiregirl I’m watching it too and heard some Welsh guy point that out to them …. EVEL deemed to be so important to the English people and yet there is only a handful of their representatives there. Wonder what their constituents would make of that?

Is this is how that place has always been run? Tory and Labour politicians off doing their shopping, lolling in the sun / bars and then grudgingly making their way back in to vote. Money for bl**dy nothing!

The SNP MPs are making mincemeat of their arguments. Their (Tory) argument being that if they keep repeating often enough that the Scots have ‘everything devolved to them and that the English have no say on that’ we’ll all begin to believe it. I’m afraid I wouldn’t last for 5 minutes in that place and have no idea how Alex Salmond and others who numbered around 6 at one time could put up with it.

I’m trying to figure out what’s actually going on with the Tories? Some seem to be totally convinced by their own guff. Can they really not see that we are being subjected to English Votes for Scottish Laws and this has been the case for over 300 years now? Are they really so naive, so lacking in empathy?

heedtracker

Page 15, “PM turns on SNP as hunt vote is put off” is the Press and Journal headline for yesterday, if you can call it a headline.

P&J really monstered YES and detest the SNP but now its totaly pretending Holyrood doesn’t exist and SNP bad at Westminster, if they really have to report something. They hide behind the skirts of the BBC and the Torygraph but they are ferocious hard right britnats in Aberdeen Journals.

Their “New Evel proposals published” thing is even tinier too. The more aggressive and nasty they get, the more they’re losing.

call me dave

Carmichael expresses his worries.

“EVEL is an attempt to shoehorn and English parliament into the House of Commons”. “I look on these proposals with genuine terror”.

Puts the position of the speaker who has to make a judgement about whether or not the legislation concerns Scotland.

Spending in Scotland is at risk.

That’s a fair assessment and he’s a unionist.

Dal Riata

David Cameron 16.09.14:

At the end of the day, all the arguments of this campaign can be reduced to a single fact: we are better together.

So as you reach your final decision, please don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t be a proud Scot and a proud Brit.

Don’t lose faith in what this country is – and what we can be.

Don’t forget what a great United Kingdom you are part of.

Don’t turn your backs on what is the best family of nations in the world and the best hope for your family in this world.

So please, from all of us: Vote to stick together, vote to stay, vote to save our United Kingdom.

You lied to us Dave. And you’re lying to us now. You’re a fucking liar Dave.

Fuck your: “better together”; “what a great United Kingdom you are part of”; “best family of nations in the world”.

Now, go and fuck something else Dave – yourself!

Petra

@ call me dave says at 5:47 pm ”Michty…Wales and the Welsh seem to be at an even more disadvantageous position according to Ian Lucas labour Welsh MP. At least we have a chance, if we take it, to get out!”

The Welsh will NEVER get their Independence now as per statistics highlighted by many Welsh Nationalists. They continue fighting but know it’s too late for them other than something absolutely dramatic contributing to create a complete breakdown of the ‘Union’ and even then they’ll probably remain shackled to England.

msean

Please can we have tories like Mr Cash speak more often, especially to no voters, better together lol. 🙂

Robert Peffers

I said it at the time and I’ll say it again. Cameron speaks the English Language like a native. A native of Finland. He claims the United Kingdom is four nations in one country but he is technically wrong on several levels.

The United Kingdom is, as it’s title correctly describes it, a single KINGDOM formed by a bipartite union between two equally sovereign, (formerly independent), Kingdom’s. One of which composed of three countries in 1706/7 when the pair signed the Treaty of Union.

Furthermore, it is now, (temporarily) one hopes, a “State”, that contains four countries, NOT as Doppy Dave would have it, “Four states in one country”. He can claim it is so till his tongue drops out but the United Kingdom remains a Kingdom and its parliament may loosely be described as a state but it has never been a country and it never will be a country.

Robert Peffers

@Wulls says: 15 July, 2015 at 2:04 pm:

“Nope…. Couldn’t hear the second clip.

Wulls, There was a recent update for Adobe Flash Player, (a safe one), and before that there was a problem that had a false reminder to update the flash player that loaded a particularly nasty Trojan instead of the Flash Player.

If you copped it then you need to remove the existing flash player, do a virus scan, (and perhaps also an anti-Spyware scan), then download and install the latest, (good version), flash player.

A symptom of that Trojan was random ads playing even when you were not using the flash player.

lumilumi

@ Robert Peffers 7.03pm

I can assure you, David Cameron DOES NOT speak English like a native of Finland.

I’m not sure if I should be offended. It’s pretty rude to suggests Finns sound like David Cameron.

Petra and others ref the Welsh situation on EVEL

I just sat down to catch up tonight and caught the last 10 mins on the EVEL debate tonight. Mr Lucas out of the picture must have been going nuts/mad @ the debate as the Deputy speaker had to stand up and actually shout repeatedly at Mr Lucas to get him into line.

Robert Peffers

@Petra says:15 July, 2015 at 5:59 pm:

“Is this is how that place has always been run? Tory and Labour politicians off doing their shopping, lolling in the sun / bars and then grudgingly making their way back in to vote. Money for bl**dy nothing!”

Yes Petra, that’s the norm. You may not be aware of this but throughout the Commons they are all within hearing of the Division bell. When a vote is called those bells ring and they all scurry to the division lobby. (By the way there isn’t enough room in the debating chamber to give every member a place, (even with standing room).

At the division the party whips also go round whipping their party members out of offices, eateries and water hole, gyms, et al. Then the whips tell their party members whether to vote Aye or No. They don’t even need to know what they are voting for, (and anyway they have a list of what business is to go to a vote).

Then we have the practice of pairing. In this a Government member will pair with an opposition member so that a whole load of members are paired off so that with one of each, government a and opposition, it makes no difference to the result as both can avoid the division vote.

Which is another fact that many poster here were ignorant of and thus were moaning that with only 60 odd Members the SNP were hogtied. The point is that if the SNP do not pair off with either the government or the opposition then they are in a position to hijack either government or opposition when they pair off.

Previous minority governments have seen dying Members brought to the vote by ambulance as the party didn’t know if they could win a tight vote.

It is not unknown for a lobby fodder member to make their maiden speech and never open their mouth again in the chamber but to vote in every vote in the entire session. This is known as towing/toeing the party line. (I go for the toeing version as it was originally a bare knuckle boxing term. They drew a line in the sand and the boxer who first failed to toe the line for the next round was the loser of the bout).

Petra

Robert I have so, so, so much to learn. I really don’t have a clue about politics at all other than the basics.

Division bell and pairing? Robert this is all way beyond me and I’ll need a great deal of time to internalise, study and figure out. Give me some time to get back to you. Thank you.
