Combined spending in Scotland by the four main parties for both the 2010 UK general election and the 2011 Holyrood general election, in descending order:

LABOUR: £1,785,000

CONSERVATIVES: £1,546,000

SNP: £1,456,000

LIB DEM: £647,000

    The Tories spent £1.3 m illions in Scotland for 1 Westminster seat!
    Evidently the SNP feel Westminster is a sideshow but Labour obviously need their seats from Scotland.

    That's an interesting statistic. Labour spend big on Westminster, the SNP spend big on Holyrood.
    I doubt these figures will be prominent in the media as it doesn't follow the, "Labour the poor underdog, the SNP bad rich people", narrative.
