So while we are on the subject of the jock-bashing lunacy from the tories and tabloids..

We do know this is supposedly some fuckwitted ‘tactic’ by the tories and their idiot right-wing cheerleaders to try and win votes in England but that fact of the matter is this lunatic ranting about the SNP started even before the first debate. If it had the slightest chance of being effective it would have pushed through to the polling long before now.

It simply hasn’t worked. Nor will it.

Nicola is a popular and repected politician. More popular that Cameron, Miliband or Clegg. That’s in the whole of the UK not just Scotland.

The barking mad right-wing tabloids just don’t matter even a fraction of what they used to. People are embarrassed to even admit they read them these days. They are hugely mistrusted and their political influence has never been lower

The tories and Labour are still neck and neck with only MOE stuff from the pollsters.

The most stupid and out of touch of the tory cheerleaders are grasping at straws pretending that there’s going to be a massive change to the voting patterns based on some flimsy hypothetical polling while ignoring that ACTUAL polling figures.

That hypothetical polling could just as easily be done for other subjects and winning voters over with those issues. It would also be just as meaningless. There’s two VERY short weeks of campaigning left so the time for MASSIVE changes is long, long gone.

So there’s not much point pretending this anti-scottish right-wing lunacy is anything other that a desperate bunch of public schoolboy twits presiding over a failing and floundering tory campaign totally out of ideas and dying on it’s arse.

Course that won’t stop them and they’ll keep ranting away about ‘the jocks’ if only to keep their idiot tabloid cheerleaders happy.

My Westminster named constituency is Perth & North Perthshire, currently represented by Pete Wishart (SNP) who lives in the city of Perth.

When I opened my postal ballot papers this morning, I was stunned to read that the UKIP nominee, John Myles declared his registered address as Peterborough, England.

The Labour candidate, Scott Nicholson declared his registered address as Glasgow.

It is quite revealing that UKIP don’t have enough support to put up a candidate who even lives in Scotland & it is indeed quite the revelation that Labour had to reach out to someone in Glasgow to contest Pete Wishart.

How these two candidates expect to represent me when one live 70 miles away & the other at least 370 miles away is a mystery that perhaps only their own parties could explain.

Neither of course will receive my support regardless of their politics if they can’t even be arsed to chose Perthshire as a place to set up residence.

Outlander. It was a bit of mystery how it could have stopped. Wiki leaks and the Herald article today seem to clarify! Cameron, personally, pressurised/influenced Sony to drag heels about releasing the the UK. Apparently, the BBC were lined up to show it!

When the PM of the UK decides what TV drama we should be allowed to watch, for purely political reasons, then an acceptable line has definitely been crossed.

It’s out in the open and should be milked for all its worth in the election.

Democracy will win through, despite the Establishment’s efforts!

I must say i’m impressed at the BBCs new and fair embracing of the idea that each political party has equal airtime to express their views
    Way to go BBC
Trouble is, Nicola Sturgeon comes on to outline a particular point of view which is then followed up by representatives of the other teams outlining where Nicola Sturgeon is completely barking, only out for independence, figures don’t add up or just plain bad
    Way to go BBC
we certainly wouldn’t want the other parties
policies aired or questioned, that certainly wouldn’t do now would it

This seems to be the new Brian Taylor style of political scrutiny now where he mumbles his way through something to do with the SNP and then he’ll say “But the other parties would argue” and proceeds to spend more time telling us again how bad the SNP are using FOUR other party peoples words

Once again BBC way to go

This is of course only fooling the hard of understanding
who, it has to be said are out there, but, and it’s becoming a bigger but, every day there are a little less of them
They’re catching on BBC, We know this because we are 110thousand strong knocking on their doors and if we only convince one person of the truth a week

it clearly states on the 10th April 2015 that elections to Peterborough City Council will see 20 people elected into 19 wards with two seats available in Stanground Central.

One of those council wards is called West, challenged no less than by Mr. Myles (UKIP), the very same person standing to represent Perth & North Perthshire.

You are correct that it is a boddice ripper set in Scotland, i am half way through the first book.

Well, it’s only my opinion but if the author had placed her characters in the Inverness area post-Culloden then I think it might have swayed people in Scotland. (might have) That was when the English fist came down hardest. I agree that censorship is despicable but again, in my opinion, it was an own goal. The video game took ages to appear and was made by company which had not made any other games and it was so glitchy and technically flawed it was virtually unplayable. A big disappointment for the most anticipated game of the year. Curiously, the company was named, *ahem*, ‘Red Lemon’.

Because we rely on London/Washington letting us get away with so much crap in their jurisdictions, but North Korea wants to tell us what crap to do.

Some of you will have come across the phrase ‘the ovary lottery’. I read it for the first time yesterday, and immediately it summed up the Unionist Establishment viz., if you’re not born into serious money and titles, or born with a real advantage through your parents, then you’re just tax fodder.

I am in no doubt that a political and social ‘chemical reaction’ is taking place in Scotland and is spreading to the rest of the UK. It’s banner is ‘End Austerity’. This is a moment in GB history which will offer a better life to millions of people.

But to those who have already made sure of their profits and rewards, they will have to get out of the way of this change in public sentiment, in the way that one might get out of the way of a herd of buffalo on the run, because it is dangerous to stand in their way.

As with Indy, the Establishment, the winners of the ‘ovary lottery’ can only say NO, while the people of the UK, the tax fodder, will only say Yes.

Vote for an end to austerity. Vote for and end to the ovary dominance of the Unionist Establishment.

Here’s a thought. The supermarket companies now finding themselves suffering large loss of profits are the same ones who threatened Scotland during the Independence campaign. Those making more profits did not treat their customers so badly.

I know ASDA lost a very good customer as I used to buy everything there including road fuel. I’ve not spent a penny there since ASDA chose sides. These arrogant business’ need to be aware they need us but we don’t need them.

Miliband has no choice but to pretend he won’t make deals with the SNP, to hold support in England.
Who is going to believe him though?

If the SNP gets enough MP’s and holds the balance of power, then it has plenty of influence whichever party forms a UK government. We don’t need any ‘official’ agreements.

And appearing to rule out any SNP deals will just hurt them even more in Scotland. It gives the impression he would prefer another Tory government.

His summing up was smack on the money and, being the end, there was no chance of being got at by the collective Unionists.

I also note the new crop of crap from the IFS who are still claiming Scotland finances would, “Fall behind the rest of the UK’s leading to a, “Fiscal Gap”, of Β£9.7bn by the end of the decade”. Labour then claimed it proved the SNP’s plans would require massive spending cuts.

That implies they, the Establishment, have just fought a long campaign to keep Scotland in the Union and are now fighting like hell to keep the SNP out of Westminster.

I feel so humble as these Unionists are claiming they are fighting so hard and dirty to save us from ourselves and to stop us from preventing them from subsidising we profligate Scottish subsidy junkies.

I think Nicola is right. We can only hold another referendum when there is enough public demand for it. And when it looks tactically possible that we will win it.
If it is too soon there will be a backlash.

I think the public mood is to give further devolution a chance, and when it is either refused or seen as insufficient then there is a possibility. Leaving the EU against Scotland’s will is another example.

The climate has to be right, including a few more years of younger voters joining the electorate. Many older pensioners brought up under London rule are stuck in their ways. Not all mind.. but it’s a numbers game.

Regarding salaries, I do think it would be a nice gesture if SNP MP’s all pledged to deliver, say a third or a quarter of their MP salaries to foodbanks or charities. To show they are different from the rest.

Aye! Will and so did every other party in the UK and the rest of Britain. For the very good reason that the truth is that Labour were indeed up to their ears in the same USA begun scam. Labour bought into it fully and not only followed the USA lead but did far more.

It wasn’t the Yanks who sold of the UK gold reserves, that was Brown. It wasn’t the Yanks that raided the UK pension schemes or the several other blatant thefts Labour instigated. Including the Labour began Bedroom tax. All the Tories did was extend it. Brown it was who freed the BofE from tight government controls and Labour it was that failed to properly regulate the financial sector.

Never forget either that it was Labour who began the transition of the UK tax system from direct to indirect taxation. This made the poorest the most burdened by tax and the top 10% of the richest the least tax burdened. The gap between the rich & poor widened more under Labour than under any government since the days of Charles Dickens.

Then we had the Blair/Brown/Darling mismanagement and war crimes. The Tories only continued what Labour had begun. They are, after all, now fully paid up members of the Establishment and have been around the late 50s early 60s.

Well, Bob Mack, My worst subject at school was mathematics. It wasn’t the theory I was poor at but the slog of doing the basic add/subtract/multiply/divide. The why and wherefore made sense but, for example, sitting slogging away learning tables by rote seemed a great waste of time when I wanted to learn so much.

Thing is that the important bit is understanding what’s going on in the calculations and understanding the methodology. When you understand that the bullshit and smokescreen of complicated calculations are a deliberate obfuscation.

The Scottish Expenditure and Revenue needs only state three final figures. Total revenue from Scotland – Total expenditure in Scotland and the total population of Scotland. Thing is getting those totals is made difficult not only by hidden revenue gathered from Scotland but by strange ways of attributing both what is gathered and what is returned.

So, using Office of National Statistic figures, They say that the Scottish per capita GDP, (the revenue from Scotland divided by the total Scottish Population), is higher than both that of the UK as a whole or of England. That means we each pay more in than any other UK country.

Then what is returned to Scotland can only be the Total Block Grant divided by the total population plus the per capita share of the shared services such as defence and foreign Affairs. Again we get less back per capita and that’s without the hidden revenues that never get mentioned. There are rather a lot of those.

With still no idea as to what it is (we can only guess), my own personal belief is that Stuart was creating a propaganda tool to be used against Labour in the run up to the General Election. With the media backing the Red Tories, Project Red would help to counter that cause, and help the SNP in their own battle to win key seats.

However …who needs Project Red??? LOL

Murphy. Cameron. Miliband. Clegg. Rennie. Davidson. Major. The Main Newspapers. The BBC. Brewer. Taylor. Neil. Marr. The Establishment …all being paranoid and delusional psychopaths, have literally destroyed each others credibility in a bid to prove that the SNP = bad, bad, bad!

Akin to a shark frenzy, it has been almost comical watching them tearing chunks out of each other as they attempt …and fail …to send the SNP into the darkest regions of oblivion. It has been a spectacular bloodlust, that even at this point, shows no signs of waning. And as they shriek, wail and threaten each other, they can even see that they are damaging the very structure of their elistist system that they are trying to protect, and yet, unbelievably, they can’t seem to help themselves, but continue with an attack that damages them every single time.

Like that old saying …‘Whom the gods would destroy, they first make mad’ …and by the gods …have they lost the absolute plot! LOL

So going back to Project Red …if that was the theory of it, then maybe Stuart has decided that he no longer needs to use it. The lies, the deceit, the deceivement from the Referendum has eaten the Unionists right up. Maybe instead, Stuart is keeping it for a future rainy day …maybe sometime in 2016 …just maybe…

I’ve explained this before, Onwards, but you may have missed it. There is a far more likely, and believable, explanation than just oldsters set in their ways.

The Labour Party were almost wall to wall in Scotland, particularly in such as Glasgow and the Central Scotland & Fife Coalfields.

Around 80 years of Labour means there are little Labourite Dynasties all over those Old Labour Heartlands and they obviously contain families and friends.

I live in the former mining village of Kelty and a former Labour Councillor once made the following statement to me. “A’body in Kelty ir earsehole connections”. What that means in the local dialect is that in a village where everyone knows everyone else the families are all connected one to the other by either direct bloodline or by intermarriage.

Anyone who isn’t probably owes a favour or three to a Labour Councillor on someone connected to a Labour Councillor and, just by the length of time Labour has ruled, these, “Earsehole connected”, folks are going to be mainly the older generation.

Ergo – they are not just Labour supporters they are Labour party members, friends and family.
