Once more the pantomime

Posted on April 15, 2025 by

In relation to yesterday’s article, we’ve now filed the following with the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator.

I request a review of this decision.

Firstly, I wish to note that since the response I received was a wholly generic one containing no reference or relevance to any of the specifics of my case, it should not have taken until the 28th day of the 28-day deadline to deliver. This appears to be a deliberate stalling tactic.

The information I sought did not involve the disclosure of any sensitive identities or data. It is in fact an attempt to establish the answer to an extremely basic question of first principles: why is LGBT Youth Scotland operating so far outwith its stated remit?

Since the fact that it IS doing so is not in any question – its own public statements declare that it is operating widely and openly in primary schools – it is a matter of plain and overwhelming public interest that this glaring anomaly be explained. The charity itself refuses to do so, or even to enter into any discussion of the matter, so it becomes a matter for its ostensible regulator.

Since the public is unable to ask the OSCR to speak on behalf of LGBTYS, the only remaining option to achieve transparency, accountability and public confidence is to seek the information requested and thereby discern the answer via the OSCR.

Particularly given LGBTYS’s unfortunate record of involvement with extremely serious child abuse, and its highly controversial position on matters such as “puberty blockers” – on which it is starkly at odds with the stated position of the Scottish Government – this matter cannot simply be swept under the carpet and the public ordered to mind its own business. Someone, somewhere, at some level of Scottish civic life, must answer the question:

Why is an organisation whose remit concerns intrinsically sexual matters and exclusively encompasses 13-25-year-olds being allowed to operate in primary (and indeed nursery) schools and discuss such sexual matters with children 10 years below its minimum stipulated age range?

Given LGBTYS’s refusal, that duty then lies with the OSCR, and it should not evade it. The public deserves to know both that OSCR has in fact complied with its own responsibilities and carried out a satisfactory investigation, and what the outcome of that investigation was, given that nothing has changed in respect of the charity’s actions since concerns were raised with the OSCR a year ago and LGBTYS continues to far exceed its stated brief.

There are in this case no redactions which would reveal any sort of information that would place anyone at risk. The identities of LGBTYS and/or OSCR employees could be safely redacted if appropriate, while the substance of the discussion remained visible. What matters is that the question was asked, and that the public be told the answer.

None of OSCR’s stated objections to answering the FOI request are pertinent to this particular enquiry. It has no valid excuse to refuse. We fully expect it to do so anyway, because nobody in Scotland is answerable for anything any more. But we’re required to give them another 28 days to waste everyone’s time before we approach the only person in Scotland who appears to still believe in their civic and professional duty: the Information Commissioner.

Barring a miracle, we’ll see you on the 15th of May, readers.

LGBT Youth Scotland does seem to be a protected charity. Questions are asked in parliament and OSCR considers itself alone to be the guardian of the ‘truth’. Us plebs don’t need to know what’s going on with our children.

West Wemyss Community Trust Limited weren’t so privileged.

“Given the significant public interest, we have published this interim report in line with our inquiry policies.”

That’s very interesting. It’s conspicuous that despite the number of concerns that have been formally raised with OSCR about LGBTYS, there seems to have been no such investigation.

It was reported in the media that LGBTYS was being looked at by the OSCR at the end of last year, but this was brushed away as just “discussions”.

I would suspect that orders have come down from on high that this is not a charity to be investigated given its links to so many prominent politicians and public bodies

Well done for pursuing an explanation.
It is strange that there isn’t any noise about this in the newspapers.
Surely it deserves more attention out there. It is bewildering that ‘today’ we can’t say ‘stop this nonsense’ and for it not to be thrown back at us as if WE are in the wrong.

    Yup. I expect we shall.

ScotGov and it’s supporting armies of grifters, troughers, time-wasters, fantasists, deviants and incompetents churns out many things.

    But not miracles.

Well done, Rev. Like others on here, I recall that LGBTYS was to be investigated. Obviously never happened. These ‘trans’ charities and organisations are above the law and above scrutiny, apparently. You’d almost think that they all have friends in high places whose own predilections would provoke questions. For those who still believe it’s all a huge Westminster conspiracy, think again.

I wonder if OSCR is signed up to any of Stonewall’s or LGBTYS’s equality or charter schemes, thereby setting up a massive conflict of interest?

These groups are simply not held to account.
If we behaved with a similar disregard to law and common decency we would be walking around a small cell trying to prove our innocence.

Lest ye all think that dysfunction is unique to Scotland, Kevin Kirk publishes a regular column on that site for (American Style) Rabid Lefties, Naked Capitalism, link to nakedcapitalism.com, which makes you think that Scots maybe among the lucky ones.

I’m inclined to think “twas ever thus” and titles like “Information Commissioner” do nothing other than to raise expectations, whereas the reality is that the system is working as well as it ever did.

Stuart: think you are right. Par for the course. However, this isn’t just about mega bucks for the few; it goes way beyond that. It may be that LGBTYS is a front for something else, for access to something else. Untouchable. For now.

Seen all this before. I lived in Queensland Australia for 30 years.
It was rife among the politicians. The expected future leader of the Labor Party in Qld was one of them, plus judges, high level police.

Re the thing you posted on X, any kind of questioning or disagreement is viewed as an attack on a vulnerable minority group. This clearly cannot go on but it will because they are like “what are you going to do about it?” because they have the Law etc on their side.

The stalling and gaslighting will continue unabated until someone pops a gasket and someone else gets seriously hurt.

Please, y’all, remember that the insane inadequates that have captured our institutions are a prime example of Dark Tetrad™ (Narcissists, Socio/Psychopaths, Sadists and Machiavellians) and will use DARVO (Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim with Offender) to play the victim after they get their rightful comuppance for their abhorrent behaviour and actions.

Don’t give them ammunition: work tirelessly to expose them for the dangerous inhumane deviants that they are and raise awareness of their mental illnesses.
The more people understand that we’re dictated by members of an insane and dangerous cult-like cabal, the sooner we’ll get rid of them.

Believe me, this is not a conspiracy theory.
We’re in the hands of a group of maniacs.
Read the current events and situation assuming that the cause is this, and it all falls into place.

Bonus: you will be able to predict their next move.

Daring to go where no Trannie would openly go before; the ultimate taboo- primary school children.

I blame their parents, THEY grew up hippy style refusing to respect boundaries.

Their deviant offspring therefore have absolutely no concept of what boundaries are other than always pushing to get yet one level further perversion taboo made trendy and fashionable.

It’s all “me me me” with them as they live for the day without a whit for the future.
Prediction- old, childless, lonely living as freakish abominations with their Frankenstein bodies and expensively medicated up drain on the NHS.

Biological failures the lot of them..

Regards parents – I asked about that before on X & the replies I received was they have no option. The lessons are compulsory & home schooling isn’t an option for them.

It wouldn’t surprise me if this was all part of the plan. Get the schools closed down for lack of attendance & save the costs by only having paying pupils receive an education. Tories always do hark back to the good old days of the workhouse slaves & the class divide. Mogg was straight out of the 1800s & BoJo wasn’t far behind him in treating the masses with contempt. Not so far fetched when you consider this is what they’d love to do to the NHS too. Everyone to pay.

        Thanks for the response.
I was referring to the Trannies hippy parents, not the school kids sidelined parents.

        Really? You’re grateful for this:

“good old days of the workhouse slaves & the class divide”

        “straight out of the 1800s”

“this is what they’d love to do to the NHS too”

Lets get this straight. Geri posts a pile of unreasoned, inchoate, hysterical, moon howling and you think that’s just great.

        Wow.
