Harvie Hates Women

Posted on April 25, 2021 by

Patrick Harvie on a radio phone-in today, refusing to say if he knows what a woman is and refusing to guarantee them safety from men in women’s single-sex spaces.

No wonder there’s a hashtag.

Don’t vote Green unless you hate women too, readers.

And this is a man who is likely to be in the next Scottish government in a SNP/ Green coalition if people still vote for SNP & Greens – including the SNP on the Constituency list. The Alba party might damage them but they wont stop them.

How many will still take the risk and wheesht for Indy?

    2. Confused says:

Lactating, ovulating, birthing, front-feeding, front hole, womb owners should get a better name for themselves.

    3. Elizabeth Hagan says:

He doesn’t mind abusing women’s human rights though!

    4. Milady says:

So the answer to the callers question is no, we women can’t have our own space free from male bodies. Males though, can go anywhere they like. Equal rights, I think not.

    5. SilverDarling says:

At least he acknowledges they are a very small minority in reality.

Although if it was up to the Rainbow Greens everyone would be queer and everyone who is queer is trans and if you disagree you are transphobic and queerphobic and a kink shamer and alt-right and a Christian fundamentalist who likes Trump or something.

    6. Alison says:

It would be nice to think he’ll manage to talk himself out of being re-elected.

    7. Astonished says:

Why is this not being reported ?

Do the BBC and STV hate women too?

    8. President Xiden says:

Is this the same Patrick Harvie who wants to abandon fossil fuels completely and instantly? Remember that oil is a fossil fuel.

    9. It does show that the root of the problem is the GRA which creates the legal fiction that people can change sex.
The act was introduced before same sex marriage was legal and the argument was that there was a human rights breach because a trans identified man was not allowed to marry another man.

The GRA solved the problem by creating the legal fiction that the TIM was a woman for legal purposes.

Now that same sex marriages are legal, there is no need to persist with this legal fiction and the GRA could be repealed without infringing the human right whose infringement was its orginal justification.

The idea that the law can change a man into a woman is as absurd as the idea that the law can stop the tide rising. When there is no pressing need for such absurdities they should be done away with.

    10. Angry Weegie says:

      If you #HateWomenVoteGreen

    11. winifred mccartney says:

So if trans peoples human rights are breached that is not good but if womens’ human rights are breached that’s OK. In a nut shell.

    12. Red says:

Patrick Harvie is a seriously creepy wee guy who makes my skin crawl.

I’m not saying he’s actually the evil little troll who tried to kill Drew Barrymore in the 1985 horror anthology film CAT’S EYE before being foiled by the eponymous cat, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he was.

The Green Party aren’t serious about anything that doesn’t involve new and exciting ways to make sex horrifying and weird.

Wait till they get round to body integrity dysphoria rights.

“Don’t vote Green unless you hate women too, readers.”

Jesus, what the hell happened to this site? The positivity, intelligent writing and common sense of the days leading up to September 2014 seem … well, like another life. Now it’s like reading a load of desperate ranting from the fringes.

    15. Wullie B says:

After reading an article posted BTL on one of Graham Linehams articles, made for some interesting reading https://www.dailysignal.com/2019/03/10/i-was-americas-first-non-binary-person-it-was-all-a-sham/

    16. McDuff says:

      de brus

The site is the same its the sinister polices of the SNP backed by the Greens that have changed.
And why would a woman vote for the Greens when Harvie clearly doesn’t believe in women’s rights??

    17. McLaurin says:

      de brus

Did you actually listen to the piece?

    18. Garrion says:

Watch for the backflip once this grows legs. The man is a rodent and a political one at that.

    19. Rogueslr says:

Interesting that the subject is,at least, being aired by the various media. That’s both Green spokespersons being pinned down on women’s rights. P

    20. Joan Hutcheson says:

Not at all surprised by this. I have considered Patrick Harvie a Trojan horse misogynist for some time, presenting as a cuddly tree-hugger. Unfortunately many Green supporters have been taken in. Others, particularly women, are beginning to understand what Harvie, Ruskell and Ross Greer are about. The tragedy is that women like Lorna Slater allow themselves to be used as an acceptable front for biology-deniers.

    21. Garrion says:

@debrus. Unfortunately, while we were being all positive, the fringe crept into the corridors of power

    22. Kenny says:

It sucks that anyone has to wait for any sort of healthcare, but I injured my hip three years ago. It took 10 months to get a consultation with an orthopaedic surgeon who was largely uninterested. I then got a second opinion and after a handful of tests, I’m only now getting physio for the now chronic pain I experience. If we’re going to deal with waiting lists, the utilitarian in me says let’s deal with all the fucked up hips in the country before we worry too much about a tiny, tiny percentage of the country who, according to the prevailing ideology, shouldn’t even need to see any medical professionals because they’re fully whatever gender they choose as soon as they say they are.

    23. PaulaJ says:

I’ve always wondered what a scrote would look like in headphones…

    24. Shug says:

Good interview from nicola this morning about hard borders but she missed the open goal – what like the border currently across the UK with ulster which is in breach of the Treaty of union and the 27 other borders Westminster has created.
      Geeza break

    25. Republicofscotland says:

Harvie never did answer the woman’s questions, I’m surprised the woman actually got to ask Harvie them in the first place.

Harvie and the Green party are utterly consumed by gender issues, the party is completely unelectable from top to bottom. Their main modus operandi is to reduce real biological women’s safe spaces, toilets, changing rooms etc, to allow men dressed as women access to them for what appears to be dubious reasons, such as they self Id as a woman.

The vast majority of the population finds these ideas unpalatable, yet Harvie and the Green party are intent on pushing them in our faces.

But we can do something about the gender obsessed Greens, we can remove them on the list vote by voting for the ALBA party, and by doing so we can also isolate Sturgeon on gender issues as well, for she relies on the Greens (most times) to have the numbers in the Holyrood chamber to push these very unpopular policies through.

Lets protect our grannies, mothers, sisters, daughters and grandchildren, by removing the Greens come the 6th of May.

Even if you don’t want to vote for the ALBA party, on the list, don’t give your vote to the Greens.

    26. Daisy Walker says:

3 years to get medical attention. That’s not so good, although of course it could also form part of the period when they are undergoing psychiatric councelling and also establishing that they are in fact living in the chosen sex for a 2 year period….

In any event, allowing anyone to self id on the Census – is not going to enable the NHS to have accurate statistics in order to plan for transgender surgery… is it.

Ah yes, but then of course, they can argue that in order to prevent such a delay, Puberty Blockers prescribed at a young age will act as a medical ‘early intervention’.

      Kaching.

Great day out leafletting in Perth today – for Alba – good reception round the doors in Letham. Didn’t see any SNP canvassers for some reason. Perhaps busy in another area.

    27. Moira Girvan says:

No matter what happens on the 6th of May – ALBA is here to stay. When most remaining SNP members and voters – the vast majority of them decent people – realise that the SNP hierarchy have absolutely no intention of seeking Independence – the penny will finally drop and ALBA will come into its own. It was never going to be easy starting a new political party in a one party state. The complete news/media blackout has certainly not helped. But people will eventually see through the leadership of the SNP and their very odd allies in the Greens – I’m absolutely certain they will both form a formal alliance in the next parliament. God help us.

    28. Shocked says:

Well I hope all the SNP1 clowns who are backing this snivelling little shit to get a cabinet post in the SNP/Green coalition that seems to be coming down the pipe are pleased with themselves.

    29. Dan Hardy says:

I’d like to know how many of the admittedly ‘tiny percentage’ actually go on to fully transition to their new gender (i.e. off with the willy – or on with one)?
All I’ve seen and heard from lately is the Scottish version of the Thai Ladyboy – only a whole lot uglier!
Funny how the conversation is seemingly dominated by males to female and once again, the women (to males) are absent from this argument?
Why is that? Answers on a bottle of poppers…

    30. Daisy Walker says:

Just seen Nicla’s interview on Marr today, over on You tube.

Tired and grumpy. Haggart looking too.

I can’t understand it myself, I’m the same age as her, I’m going through the change, its crap, but all the walking in the sunshine I’m doing going round the doors with leaflets for Alba – It’s put a rosies glow in my cheeks.

Surely Nicla is feeling the health benefits of the same? I mean Alex is looking very healthy.

Anyway, OT, and not in any way related, just some random stuff, ingestion of cocaine can lead to gangrene of the gut!

How horrible is that. It seems that people who have built up a reliance on cocaine, need to take bigger and bigger hits, so if snorting it, or rubbing it into the gums stops working, some people ingest it, and it restricts the blood supply in the stomach and gut, leading to gangrene. Which is a horrible thought.

Initially people take the drug to enhance mental awareness and energy – they talk excitedly and won’t shut up, their pupils dilate, they get tremors, erratic behaviour, mood swings – and of course once they stop, they crash out and sleep for 24 hrs straight.

Don’t take cocaine folks, there’s a reason they made it illegal.

    31. Republicofscotland says:

Is it any wonder Andy Wightman dumped the Green party, if the Greens return a fair few candidates to the Holyrood chamber as MSP’s then women and girls in Scotland will begin to see their rights impinged upon. Rights that their ancestors fought hard for, some dying in the process.

If you don’t want to remove the Greens for the ALBA party and Scottish independence, at least do it to protect your women folk.

    32. Awkward Westie says:

I’ve been trying to figure out for a long time why the Greens, a party that is primarily focused on protecting the environment, is so focused on Trans rights now … to the point where this is now more important to them than protecting the environment.

Then it suddenly hit me. Folks when you understand what they are trying to achieve, you will be impressed with their commitment to their core values and the dedication that they are showing to what they believe in.

You see the primary cause of damage to our planet as we all know is people, so if it becomes impossible to define who is male or female and all the children take puberty blockers before they are fully developed within a generation or two (allowing for all those nasty hold outs who put the safety of their family above the planet) … then humanity will be no more and thus the biggest cause of damage to planet will be no more.

The planet can then start the process of repairing itself, the rate of new damage will slow down and more importantly the Greens have kept their promise of protecting the environment above everything else. Of course there won’t be any people left to witness this or any more elections for the Green to win power, but that seems a small price and only goes to prove how noble the Greens are as they are not simply trying to gain power for their personal benefit.

Now if only more political parties had this level of commitment to delivering their manifesto, where even causing a mass extinction event isn’t ruled out if that is the only way to deliver what you promised, we would be in a much better place.

    33. katherine hamilton says:

A Parliamentary pact with the Greens is a win/win for the SNP. Firstly as a partner to push through GRA reforms and also to have a Green pal when the Climate Conference comes to Glasgow. Mega brownie points to be a green government.
More window dressing. This must be stopped. ALBA2. Greens out.

If you think that was a “good” interview tell me the definition of “interview” because all that was, was a 19 minute, deranged, blethering, lie packed rant. Not 1 cohesive answer to a question.

      @Awkward Westie

I think it’s because the greens are run by Patrick Harvie , Ross Greer and a few other members of the gay mafia and for whatever reason (prob jealousy) some gay men have a real problem with women. I suppose it may come down to unrequited love growing up when they have a crush on some boy at school who is actually only interested in girls so the chip on the shoulder about women develops and this turns into misogyny. I also think that quite a few drag acts are gay men who hate women so they have this act that is a parody of women that manors them out to be potty mouthed slurs. Certainly that is my missus view and I agree with her.

    36. Daisy Walker says:

An interesting wee thought, I am not really seeing any great number of SNP MP’s out campaigning for Nicla.

Considering it was all hands to the pump to get them elected in 2019, I would have thought they would be falling over themselves to help out, and be seen to do so…

Am I being harsh in my assesment, or have others noticed their abscence?

Be good to document it now, so when they start to play the blame game, we can hold a mirror up to them.

    37. Andy Ellis says:

      @de brus

This site is doing what it always has: speaking truth to power and forensically dissecting disinformation, deflection and unreason. If you haven’t twigged that, or think it has somehow changed, either you’re ill-informed and simply not paying attention or you’re ill intentioned. Neither is a good look.

Harvie’s responses in that interview, and Stu’s analysis of them are a case in point. The only reasonable response to Harvie’s refusal to answer the questions put to him by the caller, and his deflection into asserting that people were advocating doing things nobody sane has suggested like scrapping the GRA or rolling back existing laws, shows that the MSM and establishment are not doing their jobs.

The Scottish Green party specifically says that anyone who does not uncritically accept the TWAW mantra is not welcome in their party. They hounded Andy Whightman out of their party for entirely reasonable doubts about their extremism on the issue. Anyone voting Green is complicit in their men’s rights agenda and responsible for the attack on women’s rights. Women voting Green in particular should be giving themselves a good shake. Anyone voting Green or SNP is not a social progressive in any meaningful sense: they are the dupes of an alt-right inspired men’s rights movement.

Neither Harvie nor any of his acolytes will ever answer straight questions put to them – generally by concerned ordinary women voters you notice, not journalists – like the questions asked in the interview in the clip. They always deflect and refuse to give direct answers, because they know if they gave straight answers it would go down like a rat sandwich with most ordinary voters. GRA reform, self-ID, men in women’s prisons and other female only spaces, the destruction of women’s sports and the negative impact on scholarships, places reserved for women on boards or other “permitted” context will all become the new normal when the ideological zealots get their way.

Those voting SNP and Green in the next election will have only themselves to blame. The clear and present danger to women’s rights – an all our individual liberties – is an SNP or SNP/Green government post May 2021.

    38. @Shocked,

Surprised that `drag shows` are still accepted in the 21st century,

they belong in the bin with the black and white minstral show,

white males mocking woman and black people is misogynist and racist,

and should never have been allowed to be broadcast after the 1970`s.

He’s says the 2004 Gender Recognition Act need to be reformed (as promised) because transgender people experience a lot of hostility, hatred & violence.

In what way are reforms to the 2004 GRA ie self-id going to stop the hostility, hatred & violence?

These reforms could increase hostility, hatred & violence.

I used to know some members of the Green Party who had worked closely with Patrick Harvie. They, separately and unbeknown to each other, told me that he was a misogynist.

That was before the gender nonsense really took hold, so I have not been at all surprised by the way things have turned out.

Which Treaty of Union are you referring to – 1707 which created Great Britain or 1801 which was a separate Union with Ireland?

    45. true scot says:

Interestingly Harvie does acknowledge how vanishingly small the actual amount of transgender people there actual are. And yet it’s seemingly a huge problem.

As the promotion of trans ideology grows, we will see a growth in those seeking support through the Scottish NHS. These therapies are long term and not cheap. It would be great if someone could do a side by side analysis of typical gender reassignment costs versus other major treatments – for example cancer. I think that would be a surprise to ordinary voters, especially as it seems that gender therapies would be a priority in an independent Scotland.

And yet when any of them are asked perfectly reasonable questions about independence which SHOULD be constantly front and center of their thinking, they have very little to say.

    46. Shocked says:

      @scot finlayson

Don’t get me wrong, some are very good, gingzilla for example, but he is a 6’6” hairy man with a full beard who can fairly belt out a tune and his act isn’t about humiliating women. I saw him at a Caberet night and it was me getting humiliated when he sat in my knee and serenaded me…. and except for my blushes I’d go see him again as would my missus, but there were a couple of other acts that night that were basically of the theme that all women are filthy sluts and they were just horrendous. My missus was at the point of walking out except a few others had and had got pelters for it from the stage. The flo job weirdo that Mhairi Black loves would fall into that category as would the creep that works for the Angus “rear admiral” Robertson.

    47. Shocked says:

      @ruby

I’ve been waiting over 3 years for an operation now and it has got nothing to do with the fact that I’m a white straight male, it’s just that the health service is in even more a shambles after covid than it was before! And I certainly don’t want to take away women’s rights to sort the problem!

    48. Mia says:

I am sick to the back teeth of this continuous putting a minority of males’ wishes and wants ahead of the hard earned rights of women.

Harvie in his pathetic attempts to produce a response, that can never be consider an answer to the questions, claims that 5 political parties promised those trans people to deliver something. That annoyed me. Well, Mr Harvie, and what does that have to do with women? What makes you and those other 4 parties think that promises that perhaps none of you should have ever made because to deliver them you will need to totally undermine and destroying females’ fundamental rights, can be delivered at the expense of reducing womens’ rights by stealth? How can you ever call yourselves a political party that respects equality when it is only the rights of a minority of males what you are concerned about while you treat the rights of females as if they were disposable, or worse, as if females were in the obligation to accept their rights being bulldozed by irresponsible political parties that made promises they could not deliver?

What makes you even think for a second that women have to coooperate in what looks like a misogynist attempt to subjugate the rights of women to the wants of a minority of males?

Who are you or any male politician to suggest that these minority of males have more right to equality than women do? Because make no mistake. If you remove from us our rights, if you endanger us by removing our safe spaces, if you put us at disadvantage for the sake of including males in our sports, you are telling us we have no right to be treated as equals. We are seen as inferior in your eyes and our rights as seen as disposable.

Marion asked you what a woman is and you could not answer.
Well, I am not surprised. I would be surprised if you had the nerve to answer the question. As a woman, I do not accept a male telling me what a woman is, in the same man no male should accept me trying to define what a man is.

The way Harvie tried to deflect the question and undermine it was insulting, and could be perceived as misogynist even, by implying women do not deserve a clear answer to their clear questions and can be simply fobbed off. This is completely unacceptable.

With regards to the matter if a trans woman is a man or not, well, the jury is out there. It very much depends what you consider a man and what you consider a woman. But what is certain is that a transwoman is not a female and a transman is not a male. So let’s not airbrush again the boundaries between gender and sex yet again, Mr Harvie. And please, stop insulting our female intelligence. Believe it or not females can think for themselves and make a lot of conclusions from your pathetic response that does not reach the threshold of being an answer.

If you are asked again what a woman is, Mr Harvie, perhaps you would like to bear in mind that a woman, an adult female, is much more than a wig, tons of make up, fake boobs, a frock, stilettos and a pair of lace knickers.

    49. Shocked says:

      @true Scot

Amazed there’s not been some sort of legal injunction against that being published online, such is the madness of our current times.

James Shupe may be a victim, but he’s equally a villain of the piece, and I’m glad to see he’s acknowledging the horrendous damage globally he shares responsibility for and trying to make amends.

There was a very good line he said on Twitter last year: “The trans lobby would argue that I’m at least part female because the female hormone estrogen grew my breasts, but then we’d have to apply that same logic to the guy who grew breasts from eating too many Twinkies. Would that guy now be part Twinkie?”

“Which Treaty of Union are you referring to – 1707 which created Great Britain or 1801 which was a separate Union with Ireland?”

The Act of Union 1801 was not a treaty. It was an Act passed in domestic law.

The treaty of union between Scotland and England was far more than just an act passed in both parliaments. The Acts were passed in both parliaments only AFTER the treaty was agreed and signed by both kingdoms. It was an international treaty between two independent, sovereign states.

Ireland was not an independent sovereign state at the time the Act of union 1801 was passed. It had been under the crown of England since the Act of Annexation in 1542.

    55. StuartM says:

Story in the Sunday Post alleging Alex is less popular than Boris. Hard to believe.
      https://archive.is/dTR0C

“Alex Salmond is less popular than Boris Johnson with Scots voters, according to a poll suggesting the Greens, not his Alba Party, are the biggest threat to the SNP winning a majority.
The opinion poll suggests the SNP is on course for a historic fourth victory and a five-seat majority in next month’s Scottish election but Scottish Labour, led by Anas Sarwar, whose popularity is climbing, is poised to take second place from the Conservatives.
Projections based on the survey, carried out for The Sunday Post by polling company Survation, suggests the SNP will win 67 seats, giving Nicola Sturgeon a majority of five at Holyrood.
Scottish Labour is projected to win 24 seats, the same number the party won in the last Holyrood election, with the Scottish Tories coming third with 22 seats, nine fewer than they won in 2016. Meanwhile, the survey of more than 1,000 Scots last week, suggests the Scottish Greens could almost double their seats from six to 11.
But Salmond’s hopes of a return to Holyrood are hanging by a thread with his Alba Party projected to secure just 3% of the regional list vote and needing a late surge in support to win any seats.”

      ==========================================================

What really is concerning is their projection of the SNP with an absolute majority of 67 seats and the Greens with 11 would leave Scotland in the hands of Sturgeon and her Woke pals.

At all costs we have to prevent Sturgeon being returned with an absolute majority whereby she can ignore Alba and put independence on permanent hold while turning Scotland into a Woke dystopia.

If you are in the constituencies of Sturgeon, Swinney, Robertson, Humza or Sommerville vote for the candidate most likely to defeat them. Don’t spoil your vote that is pointless, actively vote against them. If we can decapitate these snakes in the grass then there’s a chance for the good guys to reclaim the SNP.

      Ref the Polls.

Isn’t it amazing how they rise when Nicla needs support (58% for Indy – just before a potential VONC at SNP conference 2020).

Then after Brexit transition period ends, and we are well and truely out of the EU, they start to drop back down to 50% again, just in time for the February 2021 Conference when there is growing support to make this May election a Plebiscite Indy election.

And now for the first time in Holyrood’s history – in spite of car crash campaigning, a Party Manifesto that is so tired and out of date it makes Nicla look vibrant, and a public that is well and truely fed up of Covid and her stupid public broadcasts about same, for the first time in Holyrood’s history, an SNP majority on the Constituency vote alone – is going to be a walk in the park.

      I smell shite.

The British Nationalists fear Alba more than they fear the SNP – that means ensuring the Yes voters keep ‘loyal’ to the SNP and do not change to Alba, and that means telling the voters that Nicla’s a ‘winner’ so they don’t have to sit down and re- evaluate the situation.

    62. SilverDarling says:

The Greens are the parasitoids of Scottish politics. They will destroy the independence movement from within.

Theoretically, if the SNP gets a majority they won’t need the Greens and be held hostage by them.

Normally that would suggest a constituency vote for the SNP would be the best option but the SNP and Greens are so similar and ideologically in sync now that even with a majority the SNP see ALBA as a threat and hence would unite with the Greens no matter what.

What is needed is that the Greens and SNP do not achieve a majority together but that seems unlikely. I think the long game is the only option and an ALBA voice however small is an absolute necessity to shine a light on what is about to enfold.

The problem is it all sounds perfectly reasonable if, indeed, you take “trans people” to mean the tiny amount of people who transition due to gender dysphoria. These people are already accepted as their new sex and the GRA means they can have the legal fiction of that sex. The issue isn’t them. It’s that the new revised GRA wants to throw these additional privileges open to any man at all, regardless of transition or GD. Hence some deeply creepy men, often with beards and absolutely no transition get to do what they must enjoy, which is intimidate, gaslight and abuse women. At the expense of that tiny, vulnerable minority they claim to speak for. Unsurprisingly these kind of creepy men are the ones shouting loudest about “trans rights”. No man should ever be speaking about what women are, or what they need, or what their feminism needs to be and do.

But to anyone watching who believes it is that tiny minority or transsexuals he’s talking about, it looks reasonable.

Also, the transcult is a proselytising religion:

There’s a couple of different aspects to the GRA/HCB pincer movement. The first is forcing the entire country, on pain of imprisonment, to play along with the sexual fantasies of autogynephiles. The second is the targeting of children.

If your child is confused about “gender” they don’t want you, or teachers, talking sense into them (this, BTW, is what Alyn Smith means by “conversion therapy”, which he means to ban). They want the State to get them on puberty blockers post haste, so they’re on the same conveyor belt Keira Bell found herself on. Hormone blockers -> surgery -> a lifetime (often a short one) of regret. And nobody trying to warn them until it’s too late.

Nearly all children grow out of gender confusion by the time they go through puberty. They don’t want that. They’d rather threaten parents with jail time for “misgendering” their own confused kids. We should’ve guessed when the Named Person scheme was floated that the Scottish Government believes children belong to the State.

THE leader of the Scottish Greens has been accused of sharing a “vile” and “misogynistic” blog which referred to a female SNP politician as a “w****r”.

Patrick Harvie retweeted the pro-independence blog A Thousand Flowers, which had posted an article declaring Joan McAlpine as its “Weekly W****R” for her views on the rights of women and transgender people.

Mr Harvie was deluged with outraged responses on Twitter after sharing the tweet linking to the blog, which read: “If the SNP wants to be a safe and supportive place for trans and gender non conforming people, they have to squarely take on those trying to prevent trans people having the same rights as anyone else“ with a photo of Ms McAlpine on which a badge with the words “Weekly W****R” had been photo-shopped.

The article is 727 words long. However the first mention of Independence does not appear until the 604th to 606th words, in the phrase: “an independent country.”

The actual word “Independence” only appears once, it is the 628th of the 727 words in the story.

What is it with our media when they come away with statements that imply Sturgeon is obsessed with Scottish Independence and that is all she ever talks about.

      Are they having a laugh?

Sturgeon has hardly mention the “I” word since 2014.

And just checked out the videos from the Marr show yesterday, Sturgeon’s eyes tell us a lot about how she is handling her guilty conscience. She has got bags under bags, she has aged about twenty years in the last few months. She is battering into the drink or the drugs or both.

She is not fit to hold office.

And regards the hard border between Scotland and england that was discussed yesterday, of course we need a hard border after Independence, I would volunteer to build it for free.

I personally can’t think why Sturgeon is hanging around, the games a bogie Nicola, just give in.

He’ll probably repeat the above anytime he is asked ‘what a woman is’
Perhaps the better questions to ask would be:

      What is a transgender woman?

Can anyone be a transgender woman?

Is there any reason why a transgender woman cannot be called a transgender woman?

Probably important to emphasis that its the reforms to the GRA 2004 that is the problem.

I could go through all the usual arguments in response. At the root of your position and understanding is a denial of reality. If Scotland and England were a couple of bordering countries in Africa, you wouldn’t hesitate to call this situation out for what it is.

It shouldn’t shock or surprise us to imagine that the SNP has succumbed to the overtures, incitements, and pressure of a powerful neighbour and is essentially running the territory on that neighbour’s behalf. The second and third world is a tapestry of relationships like that.

The SNP under Sturgeon has gone from “field slave” to “house slave”. Her public commitment to a section 30 is a landmark betrayal of everything the independence movement stands for, making Sturgeon’s SNP the new imperial masters.

The biggest indicator is BBC Scotland’s support for her. They want you to vote for her. It’s all staring you in the face.

I’ve only met Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon on brief occasions, but FWIW:

Alex is a very gracious, gregarious man who makes you feel like he’s genuinely delighted to meet you. There’s a warmth to his personality that, even if it’s part of a politician’s baby-kissing shtick, feels sincere and welcome.

Nicola is just… there. I don’t know if she’s an introvert or what, but she’s off-putting. Comes across as cold. You could read unflattering things into her seeming aloofness if you want, and maybe you’d be right. I think she’s probably more of a Theresa May character though – not a natural people person, maybe has difficulty trusting others.

    136. A wiman says:

Because all of this is about validation as the opposite sex. You must be complicit in the legal fiction, you must be compelled to comply.

A 3rd space is not acceptable, it is access to women’s spaces, women’s language, women’s rights that is being demanded, trans rights are not enough.

It is colonisation of women, and the last frontier of misogyny: make ‘women’ cease to exist as a distinct, definable group of people.

      going of topic
I was reading “ living news” on line, and it reminded me of this transgender nonsense going on in Scotland.
It seems that Scotland has been elected as a live experiment for many issues, the questions have to be asked which politicians and who pushing all these far fetched agendas for and in Scotland.
This “Living news” states that in reforesting Scotland they will be reintroducing bears wolfs etc in to Scotland, and the politicians were enthusiastic about the idea, and a poll had been done with the public and there was a lot of support for it,
Somebody or some politicians, in Scotland has to be receiving lobbying money for this ideology.
As far as I know the public have not been widely consulted about any of this, if they have done a poll it must have been with a special chosen section of the public.
Enough of using Scotland as a living country experiment for transgender issues, wild dangerous animals or experimental hate speech against locals and Scots people in general, even the old poll tax was an experiment we had to suffer.
We need to on our guard,
No conspiracy theories needed, it’s readily available material to read if you google it.
So which politicians are being payed and lobbied in the Scottish parliament and by whom, ? Does it include those say deer need to be culled and killed, those whom hunt and shoot foxes, those whom recently culled hedgehogs in Scotland, those whom ensured biological disease to kill the rabbits, those whom trap, shoot and poison badgers, those whom catch and cage Scottish wild cats
Is the natural wildlife that we know and love that has developed in Scotland over hundreds of years, if not thousands of years to be eradicated for some larger ideological experiment without massive consultations with all of us who live here, work here, and love the nature that already exists here,
I don’t want my children, grandchildren or even my neighbors children to be killed or hospitalised while out playing or on their way to and from school,
Released and free roaming bears, wolfs hunting in packs and massive bison chasing kids on bikes is real possibility, especially when the normal prey they would live on is not present in Britain, or are deer going to be replaced by moose,
We are not America, we do not have such wide open spaces or available prey to sustain these predators,
One wonders when the lions leopards and panthers wil be introduced,
Bison would destroy most of our small scale forest, and far to big to chase out of your farm or garden.
bears bison, wolfs big cats, beavers in such a small space as Scotland would cause devastation to our countryside and population.
Who’s agenda is it and who is bribing our politicians.

@ James Che – re re-wilding of Scotland

This is being done so they can fence off the remotest (and most stunning) areas and ‘legally’ put a stop to right to roam/responsible access.

There are some serious money’d people behind it who own very large estates (and not just in this country) and they are pushing for it big time.

Of course once the estates are enclosed, they will shoot and poison whatever they want with even less chance of being likely to be caught.

Still thinking of voting Tory on the Constituency?

    143. Mia says:

“It’s all staring you in the face”

What is staring me in the face is the inalienable fact if I vote for a unionist in the constituency, instead of helping to ejecting them from Holyrood which is what I want, I will help them to preserve presence in Holyrood and then use the seats to claim Scotland don’t want independence.

It all reduces to one imple thing: pro independence seats.
Why? Because that is what will tell the rest of the world and Westminster we want independence.

I want as many pro independence seats as possible and as few, preferably none, unionists seats as possible. The only way to achieve what I want is by voting SNP1 and ALBA2, therefore that is exactly what I will vote for and what I will advise anybody else to vote for.

I don’t see how it is even possible to run a women’s shelter, rape case clinic treatment, etc. without a realistic understanding of the sexes. It’s a recipie for disaster and added trauma.

Men or women at times need their own sex for support and understanding in a way that can only really come from them, that’s perfectly reasonable and normal. It’s crazy that these things are suddenly being treated as somehow strange or questionable. A man should not be able to get into a women’s shelter by claiming to be a woman for obvious reasons. The risk of added trauma and distress to the women there is way too high.
