It’s astonishing, isn’t it. English politicians lied about BREXIT with dark money and secret PR companies.

Welsh politicians – don’t know what Carwyn Jones thought but he’s resigned and now Leanne Wood has been voted out. Welsh Sion?

Northern Ireland voted remain but Stormont is disabled and the DUP are Leavers in power, thanks to dark money.

The only honest broker here is the Scottish Government and Nicola Sturgeon / Mike Russell.

We really only have one clear option because all the others are playing Twister.

Never ever have the two main London parties been in such a mess. Infighting, no coherent policies, regular u-turns. However, it’s the Tories in power with a minority and Labour who should be positioning to attack when the government is so weak.

Brexit was sold on fantasy lies using dark money. Magic beans. Vast majority of Labour members and voters simply don’t want it, in any form.

Labour have an amazing opportunity spread out before them, and what to they do … try hard to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory!

Labour in England and Scotland doing the ‘we don’t want you to notice the Tories’ policy announcements.

Westminster is a seesaw for power. But the Tories control it most of the time and whatever Labour might do the Tories will undo at the next bout of Tory Government.

Scots Labour voters suffer from a particularly bad case of ‘not seeing the Tories’ with complications of ‘will somebody else far away sort things out where I don’t have to make any big decisions’.

This means they spend a lot of time scratching at the scabs created by Tory policies but never, ever being cured, the scabs keep spreading.

Twisted and tortuous, contorted, pulled apart, broken and snapped.

The above definitions of twisted align perfectly with a Labour party intent on telling us one thing and showing us another.

We stopped being a gullible population years ago when Labour decided that the Tories were their new Best Friends…

GTF Labour and leave Scotland to forge a new path, straight rather than your twisted one.

Get ready to reach and stretch your way around the other players in this wacky [britnat] party classic! Listen to the body part and colour that the referee calls out. Sounds easy, but soon enough you’ll find yourself reaching around the other players to follow the ref’s directions. Don’t fall over and be the last player standing to win!”

The Labour Party are great contortionists, Chris, led by Corbyn. Currently they are all things to all men, except Scotland which they plan will do as it’s told. Labour mouth sensible reversals of neo-colonialism but somehow their generosity to humankind stops short of Scotland’s full democracy.

So next Saturday is the march in Edinburgh, and the day after taht the SNP Conference starts. SNP members should watch carefully this week, as there will be attempts to turn SNP member against SNP member, to try to provoke reactions at the Conference and disrupt it.

Old wounds reopened, the “split” over the timing of Indy Ref 2, we’ll be seeing it all in the media and forums, both above and below the line. My advice as a non-member – don’t respond.

You are probably right but I don’t think those that were desperate to try and manufacture the notion of civil war in the SNP realise just how mellow things are in local branches.

People are looking forward to the march and the conference. Yes, some are impatient to start campaigning for an Indyref2 but there is a quiet sense that we are inexorably moving towards that point as Brexit stumbles from one car crash to the next.

On the cartoon I tend to think of Labour as the Picket Party…not burning braziers or clever a cappella singing but rather those twee white garden fences.

    @H&S
It was a “set to” last night that put me in mind of the NATO debate, fiercely fought in 2012, I watched on TV because I was interested in the result (being defence minded), but was more impressed with the debate and the count, which was just 52% in favour, in spite of all the leadership getting behind Robertson’s new defence plan and policy.

Yet apart from 2 list MSPs and another MSP at the next Holyrood election, and maybe a handful of members, the members just accepted the will of the majority and moved on – even while clearly keeping their same views they had before.

No wonder the Tories and Labour hate the SNP. It’s something they just can’t do. To be honest, not sure if I could either if it had gone the other way, but then I wasn’t a member then – or now. I’m far too self-opinionated 🙂

Thanks for that, had a quick look through his 2014 blog posts pre-Ref, and the guy is not only genuine, but “one of us” even then as a NO voter, the way he describes UK Gov manipulation of an EU report, and the hospital car park “debt” which isn’t a debt but a charge. A hearty welcome to him, when (if) he’s ready to be YES.

That tweet shouldn’t just be ignored by the SNP SG or Police Scotland this is a direct partisan comment and apart from it being wrong about the SNP going on about indy whoever posted it has done it deliberately to show support for they bam sticks .

Imagine if someone from Police Scotland used the official twatters site to post direct links to WOS or any indy site the brit nats would be skittering themselves and tRuthless muddle, ach, wee wullie would be demanding heads to roll

The person who did this should be identified , outed and diciplined for the brainless twat they obviously are , the police are supposed to be non political are we going to suffer descrimination from brit Nat polis at our marches , and then when they smash heids is it only a bit o banter

I would be surprised indeed if out of 17,000 police officers there were not a few SiU types amongst them…basic probability really.

I would imagine the culprit has had a meeting sans coffee with a superior officer and told to never do it again. Of course the person responsible may be about to retire/leave and it was a sign off with two fingers.

My guess is it’s a civilian worker, either failed probation, sacked or leaving anyway. The chances it’s an officer, who I’m reasonably sure are not allowed to engage in political activity even when off duty, are very small I think.
