Two hypocrites, one goal, feather their own nests!
Mundell has never had a presence in England, or anywhere else for that matter. Davidson’s manufactured star is falling, as pee have twigged, their is no depth, no policies, just a mouth!
Yip the two “we will resign” experts still in post now realising that to continue they will need to throw out any semblance of honesty and integrity (I know they never had any to begin with) .
The Tory Brit puts the Little englander Boris in charge and still have the gall to say they put Scotland first.
Calum McKay – it is about feathering their nests but there is a deeper layer of contempt involved.
Britishness is about exploiting people. Historically the Empire provided that opportunity via investments in exploitative Brit companies & business. Now that the Empire is dead, they have to exploit their own people. British and Exploitation go hand in hand.
I just love that wee post on the Rev’s twitter feed, Colonel Yadaftie implying that Nicola was installed as First Minister.
Conveniently forgetting, along the way, that a certain Ruth Davidson stood against her when Nicola was nominated as FM and had to win the support of a majority of Holyrood MSP’s – only 15 of whom – not even the entire Scottish Toerags’ elected membership – supported the bold Colonel.
Both individually and collectively, the Colonel and Fluffy have mair faces than the toon knock, and fewer scruples and principles than a Groucho Marx character.
Listening to the trite trash issuing from the English candidates for PM, Mundell could be in with a real chance. Whoever wins they’ll be Farage puppets. Old England is truly on skid row. Our golden opportunity. Be vicious Nicola!
Thank you for making the plain simple truth graphic, Chris.
Pictures paint a thousand words of pure unadulterated shite.
I have to say however, that I for one am not going to sit through 2 months of the Tory party endlessly discussing the Tory party (via their toadying establishment mouthpiece the BBC) as if who they eventually elect actually mattered one jot to this colonial outpost. No more. I’ve had it.
I look forward to hearing about Scottish political developments through WoS and all the contributors.

Maybe the accolades are correct and Theresa May did her best, it’s just her best was shite.
It’s not been a good look for women, two Prime Minister’s and both only able to shed tears for themselves. Can we stop this nonsense that women are more empathetic than men, they are no different and the two that made it to the top have been self centred egotists.
@jfngw
Not all women leaders are like that. Post the Christchurch attacks I have been extremely proud to be a Kiwi as well as a Scot. My PM is Jacinda Ardern. Look on and weep Theresa for you will never have a photo of you hugging someone beamed onto the Burj Khalifa.
You will never call a technology summit in Paris and extract promises from Facebook and Twitter backed by some real big hitters.
Many of the injured and bereaved in Christchurch have been granted citizenship by special powers. She said, you have become ours in the aftermath. That was those words made concrete. It said you are so much us have this so you can never be forced to leave us.

Brexit has destroyed two prime ministers. Who’s next for the mincer?
The next one has two choices, as I see it …. one, act the goat, kick the can, dream of cakes, then bite the dust, possibly taking the Tory Party with them …. or two, be more honest. Personally, I’m not sure which way Boris would play it. If he believes himself to be a statesman deserving of a prominent place in history, he may be more honest. If he doesn’t want to be the destroyer of the Tory Party, he may decide to lay out the cards as they should always have been.
He will be deceitful to win the PMship, that’s par for the course. Then he may just opt for reality rather than fantasy.
‘No deal’ is too awful to actually contemplate. History will not be kind to any PM who takes that route. It should be taken off the table.
The electorate is probably (despite the best efforts of the gutter media) more informed than they were three years ago. The next PM has the get out of handing the problem back to the electorate – the negotiated deal, or forget Brexit.
Actual withdrawal is only the beginning, if that is England’s choice. There will be years of trade talks and the whole question of what form that takes still has to be trashed out. It could take all sorts of forms. Future general elections will probably be fought in it. An ambitious PM has ample opportunities to make a name for themselves.
Scotland? I have always thought the transition period after withdrawal was the ideal time for IndyRef2. (I just thought we might be there by now!)
Methinks the Tory Party is already breathing-its-last and that a Boris victory will prove the final-straw. It’s only the difficulty of accepting this irrevocable fact by the population i.e. that a central feature of the decrepit British Establishment has consumed itself, that stands between us and democratic progress. We’re waiting for the Old to die before the New can be born.
Just a wee wicked thought. Might not 6 June be a good day on which to call Indyref2 and demand a Section 30 order.
A demob happy Theresa, probably pleased to hand Boris and the Wannabees a ticking time bomb could always say: “Fuck Them, why not,” and sign it off – leaving Boris or whoever to deal with the fall-out.
In any case, the Westminster bubble dwellers would be so pre-occupied with the succession they would be unable to mount a serious defence of their precious union.
Now that Repeating The Same Mistakes And Expecting Different Results May is definitely definitely going then I wonder what Boris (shudder) has in store for us should he scramble into power.

I doubt Boris will make the final 2, as the skeletons in the cupboard will not allow enough MPs to get him on the final ballot.
It will be a brexiteer for sure and Raab seems the most obvious choice,it doesn’t matter which remainer gets to the final the gammon membership will vote for the “no deal” option.

Well Done again Chris, this pair have more faces than a box of dice.

With those Scotch Unionists loyalty is fundamental. Parcel of rogues behind whoever’ll give us a job.

A pair o’ rogues indeed.
Trouble is while a great cartoon Boris the Terrible is just that, and will do us all il.
Both eminently qualified to serve the new Tory PM.
Capable of servility, hypocrisy, and duplicity, unmatched by any other politicians on these islands.
They would be ideal colonial governors for any empire.
Oops ill.
I am sure somone on the bbc will ask them a hard question
Hahaha
Only kidding
Not to appear on call kaye any time soom, no dark money here
Chequebook servility.

🙂 I could actually hear her voice in my head as I read that speech ballon.
A shiver ran through the Scotch Unionists, looking for a spine to run up…..a paraphrase of an observation by Oliver Brown.
Ruth’s volte face is the funniest political thing this week. I bet she may have said something somewhat more colourful in private.

As for Boris………. he wouldn’t look out of place behind a pair of oxen ploughing a field.
my apologies to plowmen and oxen everywhere.

Come Independence there needs to be a whole art gallery dedicated to Chris’s work. Brilliant stuff.

I think a lot of non-political people will have noticed the utterly depraved sycophantism and hypocrisy of so many Tories.
