"Ooh, I fancy a game of Bombshells: Hell's Belles on my iPad today."
"Oh."
"Well, this is irritating, particularly as it's such a big file, but I suppose it'll only take a few minutes and then the fun can start!"
"I hope you all fucking die."
Welcome to the future, kids. Nothing you own is yours any more.
I do often find it frustrating when things need updating when I've found them perfectly playable already. Why is there never an option to install update as you exit?
It is truly frustrating.
is there anything specific in the 3rd picture, or is it just to show us the app screen. I'm wondering if I need to search the text.
Steve, I guess it's to show the size of the huge download. 🙂
Crikey. I assume it comes with at least 4 hours worth of FMV cutscenes?
Yeah, mainly just to show the update size.
"Crikey. I assume it comes with at least 4 hours worth of FMV cutscenes?"
I have no idea. I still can't download the fucking update.

This is the first iOS game I've ever encountered with a compulsory update. Normally if an update is available it just tells you in the App Store tab and you can ignore it for as long as you like.
This is the same problem and downside I feared right from the start with streaming media and Steam type accounts online.
You'll rent your games at a higher cost than buying them and with less convenience.
Which is why you should ditch iOS entirely in favor of Android. I can play anything I want without updates on mine.
