Just a couple more shots

We’re getting there, folks.

Keep pushing.

FOOTNOTE: For readers less familiar with the Dodonpachi videogame series than this site is, the title of this post is semi-ironic. It’s going to take quite a bit of firepower yet to get this job done once and for all. But the dominoes are falling now.

Keep an eye on what’s happening in the USA. There’s talk in certain Democratic factions of doubling down on Woke ‘cos the first wave of insanity was half-hearted. Throw in the new “Abundance” ideology and who knows what lunacy will appear.

The Orange Clown’s fight with the universities will ensure inter-whatever thinking won’t get cleaned out as long as they stick it to the Pally supporters and back the Gen O’Cide. That means purple-haired people with bubblegum for brains will still be churned out by the puppy mills, oops, universities. They’ll all be twittering away about the Abundance of Queerness.

Of course, if the Estonians keep on poking the bear the reconstituted German Army might be able to put them to good use in the Borderlands.

Ooops, forgot to mention blud and soil, and something about the constitution or colonies.

Those Estonians, eh? What are they like? Isn’t there just something about a proud, independent (even if in the EU), kinda sovereign nation that just gives the typical Wings BTL, self-identifying, proud, would-be independent, would-be sovereign Scot the raging boak?

How you lot just love to bend the knee to hostile, antagonistic, imperialist, colonisers.

And then you wonder why Scotland isn’t free? Nobody could make this stuff up.

By “poking the bear” you mean being a successful liberal democracy with a growing economy having transformed itself over the last 30 years. No doubt in your view the provocation of having a GDP per capita of twice your larger neighbour justifies that neighbour rolling the tanks over the border and killing + injuring hundred of thousands of people. No doubt if the Estonia’s tried to defend themselves from being subjugated into an oppressive dictatorship, that would make them “warmongerers”.

I doubt very much that the grand old US of A and it’s lackey England would sit by and do nothing.

Geopolitical security is good for the yanks but not good enough for the “bear”?

What with the EHRC proposed ‘code of guidance’ currently under consultation, no doubt it will be viewed as bigoted by the ‘fallacy groupies’. Instead, for the majority of the country it is viewed as ‘common-sense’. It is still amazing that ‘they’ managed to get so much influence over so-called politicians.
And again I am so very proud that it was For Women SCOTLAND that helped burst the balloon.
Another concern would be is, as long as the new guidance is accepted, is it at risk of watering down when Baroness Falkner steps down as the chair of EHRC at the end of 2025? She at least seems to be the main driver and support for getting the guidance into place. And well done to her for doing so!

    Reply
    • Jim Thomson says:

There was some talk about the 2021 census being the final one since there is already a huge amount of data on each of us (well, 99.9% or so) and the governments wouldn’t need a formal measure of population and their needs/foibles/”identities” any more. It really buggers up the future genealogy researchers’ access to reasonable sources of family history data.

  5. Frank Gillougley says:

Nevertheless, one cost of the trans ideological mass indoctrination that to my knowledge has never really been mentioned is the irreparable damage that has been caused to family relations.
In short, there is a sizable generation out there of sons and daughters that believe that one’s gender is fluid and on an infinite spectrum and that should the banks of mums and dads care to dissent from the party line then they will be summarily excommunicated.
It really is like a plague of the body snatchers out there. For many, this period in history is and will be the end of normal familial relations at a very large personal cost.
It wouldn’nt even matter if the mass psychosis of institutions that went along with this baloney actually were to make a formal apology. The damage has been well and truly done.

    Reply
    • Lorn says:

Frank: that was one of its main struts: the destruction of families. Post structuralist, post modern new Marxism. Once you destroy families, you destroy society which is built on families. Anyone who thinks that this was just something strange that happened, has not been paying attention. It’s like saying that the oil and gas, and, now, the renewables just fell into England’s sphere and had nothing to do with a long-term strategy to cut Scotland out of the loop whilst expecting it to shoulder the physical burden of infrastructure and being expected to buy our own natural resources back from south of the border at higher cost.

Not having a go, Frank, at you, or anyone, but I am absolutely amazed that so many think that the ‘trans’ and ‘woke’ phenomena have just been minor blips with little significance in the greater scheme of things. Look around the world.

The concept of progress, of dismantling and recreating new power structures in society to deal with inequalities has been going on since the dawn of time but it has taken on a whole new meaning in a modern society with a highly educated population that has the power of free speech and concepts of the individual become paramount.

I’m sure an easy answer would be getting more young people out of further education and into trade but I’ve got a feeling it is more than that where we need to balance the need for individualism and the need for a cohesive society.

That’s going to hard to achieve as people are not going to give up their freedoms to do what they want when they please and say what they want regardless of the consequences to others.

If you allow someone to change their sex status on a passport to ‘gender’ without a parallel record of sex, you will snarl up data that is required for all kinds of services, you may be letting a convicted offender into another country who could access female facilities in that other country, and you are simply lying to accommodate what is, in 99.9% of cases, a fetish or paraphilia.

I have always been of the mind that the authorities do keep straight records despite the hyperbole. I may very well be wrong, but it would be a huge dereliction of duty that could be extremely harmful, if they don’t. I think the authorities just let these neeps think that they have fooled everyone. If they have not kept accurate records of sex, then the next few years are going to be especially difficult for everyone because services will crash.

  13. Bilbo says:

The idea that the Trans issue would disappear after the Supreme court ruling seems to be unfounded. There is a difference between having a ruling and enforcing it.

    link to archive.is

Example is of the use of toilets:

The ruling in FWS is only about the definition of women and men for the purposes of the Equality Act. It does not deal with which toilets employers and businesses and public authorities (such as cinemas, shopping centres, hospitals and so on) that offer toilets to the public should make available let alone which toilets you should use.

You are the sex you are born with for the purposes of the Equality Act, your certificated sex if you have a GRC for many other legal purposes, and your lived sex for the purposes of human rights law. Regrettably, this does not tell you which door to open when standing in front of a row of toilet doors.

However, we would offer the following advice on your legal rights:

    * You can always use a unisex toilet.
    * It might be lawful for employers and service providers to segregate toilets according to natal sex (see further below) and there are some legal risks if you ignore such a policy if lawful. For example, depending on the facts, you could be accused of harassing other users of the toilet, or disobeying a reasonable instruction by your employer. However, it is also true that it might be unlawful to segregate toilets according to natal sex and it is certainly humiliating to use the wrong toilets. How you balance those factors will depend on your own risk appetite, your personal circumstances and the attitudes of your employer and colleagues.
    * If the business or public space has not indicated that it intends to apply a definition of natal sex to their toilet provision we think that you should be able to use the toilet that aligns to your gender identity. We consider that simply showing a gender symbol is not sufficient to show that a natal sex definition is being applied. That said, there is a risk that an employer or service provider will consider merely showing a gender symbol is clear enough, and you may risk a dispute with them if you take this approach.
    * If there are no appropriate toilets for you, and you feel confident to do so, you can ask for an appropriate toilet to be made available to you, and explain that it is discrimination on the basis of your rights as a person with the protected characteristic of gender reassignment not to provide you with any appropriate toilets. We understand that it will not be practical or fair for trans people to have this debate in person, let alone at the moment that you need the toilet.

    • Hatey McHateface says:

“does not tell you which door to open when standing in front of a row of toilet doors”

A rule of thumb that has served me well over the years is to try to open the door of an unoccupied cubicle.

If you are struggling to determine which cubicles are unoccupied, DO NOT crouch down and attempt to look under the doors. That scenario very rarely ends well.

I have no views on any of the rest of what you wrote. If ScotGov intends to make taking a leak as complicated and fraught as your post suggests, perhaps we should just don a burka when out and about.

Then we can go where we stand and no onlooker will be any the wiser. Even if they are, they’ll be too feart to say anything.

Mark Beggan, it’s symptomatic of a society with weak structures where anybody pushes limits to see how far they can get away with.

In relation to the workplace, if the proper use of toilets by Trans is not enforced with some form of sanction then the Trans will use what toilets they feel like.

With woke HR departments, who not only sympathies with but actively campaigns for Trans through this Stonewall/Pride infiltration of most of our institutions, it’s hard to see how management on the ground will be able to deal with this problem if Transwoman do decide to use woman’s toilets.

I’m not sure I’m all that fond of the new comments (new to me anyway) setup btl here. It’s more suited to conversation than comment. I preferred the easy to follow chronological format of the previous commenting facility.

It was easier to keep track of the latest comments using the previous system without having to pore over individual ‘conversations’ – especially if revisiting btl comments after some days away where the latest 30 or so comments listed have been overwritten.

Anyway, I simply make an observation. I think, though, that if I do reply to a comment I’ll just tag my reply to the end of the entire thread chronologically with the name and timestamp of the comment I’m replying to (just like in the previous system) and ignore the reply link at the bottom of each comment on the new system.

This is entirely a personal choice and I make no judgement upon those who prefer the new comments layout. I’ve been away from this place for some time and it might be that I’m out of step with the majority here on this matter.

Rule and divide the people become easier if first you implement the divide strategy.

Will that succeed if, the people decide to take that one step further by totally dividing the power Structure that holds the people in the invented entity called the UK.
Sooner or later the people will realise that they have more in common with each other both sides of the border than they realise
