533 MP’s in the Commons are from England. The numbers from the other three nations add up to 117.
If only 118 English MPs – that is 22% of them, bother turn up every day, the English MPs can still outvote the Scots, the Welsh and the Northern Irish.
This means that 415 English MPs could be doing other things such as working on their 2nd or 3rd jobs, going racing at Royal Ascot, boating at Henley, or simply staying home in bed – and they would still win every single vote in Parliament!
What part of that very simple mathematical analysis does Cameron find difficult to comprehend ?
