Anyone else notice the man on the left with the dark hair and black coat/anorak?

Then, nods his head (twice) and says ‘Go!’ ‘Go!’

Just BEFORE the eggs are thrown..

Given that the police say they weren’t called about Egg-Gate, yet Murphy’s lot are saying they called five times, something smells of dead rat. Perhaps the whole incident got on the SPF’s last nerve, and the stupid story about imminent carnage snapped it.

All these small victories are a blessing,

Take care out there Wingers. keep you mobile phone camera ready and avoid the No’ers as they won’t change in big numbers now.

Sooner or later the MSM will be unable to keep quiet about the NT tactics.

Most folk are fine and agree to dis-agree, but there are a few everywhere that resort to violence. To be honest this has been on the cards since Darling labeling YESSERS nazi’s and the rest of the leaders of NO are getting desperate.

Our police will be on their toes now and that’s a good thing. Stay strong folks. Avoid their traps , we have a country to win back and only three weeks to go.

In my opinion, the Herald’s biggest mistake wasn’t just running the story straight (as opposed to a reaction piece ridiculing BT’s statement, as deserved) but the reference to the Argyle St arrest in about par 3 or 4. This is presented as being for an alleged assault on a woman following a clash between Yes and No campaigners – but it comes directly after a series of allegations against the Yes camp and fails to state that the victim was a yesser (and pregnant!) and the alleged attacker a no activist. Any normal reader would be likely to infer it was the other way around.

When the FM mentions the attack later on, it’s not made clear he is talking about the same incident.

Nobody’s stopping his free speech, he’s been free-speeching across every fucking TV station and newspaper in the country. So far this song has a social reach of 600,000 which is beyond my wildest dreams, so let’s do this and give the Yes vote a serious boost for the start of the Month, as ever, I’m really grateful and humbled for all of your support on this.

Spare me. If Jim Murphy’s free speech is being “blocked,” then it’s not working: he’s gotten wall-to-wall coverage on the TV and papers.

Yes has given Jim Murphy and other pro-Union MPs plenty of opportunities to discuss and debate the issues in a neutral environment, and Murphy himself has declined on at least one occassion recently. Most BT speakers like Darling only speak to exclusive, vetted audiences. So when they finally do come out into the public, they’re surprised when faced not with idle sycophancy, but criticism and – gasp – disagreement.

The day vigorous and passionate debate is “blocking free speech” is the day free speech has lost all meaning.

There is a lot of pent up anger at the moment (even I feel angry and worked up and I’m a quite mellow person who would rather walk away from a fight or agruement than get involved) and this is due to all the negativity of BTNoThanks and the virtual wall to wall coverage of everything they say and do without recourse for the last two years, that if a lid is not put on it soon, something is going to blow and the trigger to me could well be the Orange Order March in Edinburgh or Nigel Farage’s visit to Glasgow.

I think when it goes over 50% YES, it won’t be a trickle, it’ll be a deluge.

“And how about the B.B.C. & ITV will they report?.”

Matter of fact, Albaman, I shot of a complaint this morning to the BBC Trust about BBC Bias. The complaint was that while there have been two court convictions in the past few weeks of dangerous or assassination threats against the FM, (The Aberdeen Tailgate case and the death threats case yesterday), plus an OAP YES campaigner with a broken wrist, A Yesser grabbed by the throat in a pub, the pregnant woman kicked in the stomach and the Hearts for YES assault. Yet the BBC fails to report them but gives wall to wall coverage claiming the Murphy egging was an organized YES attack but there was no evidence to prove it.

I do not expect to get any real reply as they have a set minimum time to reply that means the referendum will be over before they answer. It will though, be on record for future actions.

Just a wee story about potential carnage tonight.

I was out delivering Yes papers tonight. Rang someones bell as they had left their front door open. Elderly woman came to the door. We had a wee joke about security and then i handed over the paper. All well at this point.
I then asked her if she had decided how she was going to vote. Told me she was voting no – potential flash point!
Then asked her if she minded telling me why (a big risk given the dangers). She said she would have definitely voted yes back in the 70’s but felt we couldn’t make it now. Reasonable point of view but i’m getting nervous.
We then proceed to have a long conversation covering many topics. It was touch and go for a while.
Carnage was averted however and we bid farewell with said lovely woman the proud owner of WBB.
    It’s not easy 🙂

Might I suggest that all enraged by the behaviour of the Herald write to its owner Gannett in the US.

I had some success a few years ago when I did a daily “Herald watch” which I sent to the chair of the group in the US every week.
The Herald is one of the oldest newspapers in the world and was a national icon

Good for the polis. Incidentally, I’m noting in all this doom and gloom mongering that the fact that the 55 yo man was a noer and the woman was a yesser (and preggers) is missed out. Now, personally I’m all for that in general, but given the reporting of such crimes as a sticker placement this smacks of sweeping britnattery under the carpet to keep the agenda met.

Oh! No need for sorry. I spent a lot of years in Rosyth Dockyard in Yard Services on Maintenance before they forced me into the RADAR Bay Radiac Lab. Out in all weathers, up big Cranes, down tunnels under dry docks, on ships, up very high lighting gantries. Rain, hail, sleet, snow or scorching Sun – no problems. It took me a quite a while to settle down to working indoors, (although we did get some time up masts of aerials and radiation detectors).

I also did a spell on Inshore Radio Station maintenance Here’s one you might know – Ever been to Port Patrick? If so you will know the radio aerial up on the cliff top. I’ve worked up that aerial. As my old Irish labourer used to say when we were working down the dock gate tunnels and he looked down the vertical ladders, “That’s a terrible height down”.:-))

Word from people who were there is that Murphy stopped when advised by the police that if he didn’t they might arrest him for a breach of the peace. Seems if you turn up uninvited on a street, stand on a box and use and amplified microphone you need to be cognisant of your responsibility should you antagonise people.

Clippies? They don’t even have the old bus garage building now. It’s been demolished. What they do have, though, is, “The Clippie’s Fare”. The Old No1 Goth pub became the No1 Inn and they added a resturaunt and named it, “The Clippie’s Fare. The No1 is just across from where the old bus garage was.

With reference to the “carnage” threat, a couple of weeks ago one of my pals decided to wind up his “No Thanks” neighbour by asking him if he had heard about the change to the voting arrangements.

He then advised him that the authorities were expecting a massive turnout and were a wee bit worried about antagonisms surfacing at the polling stations. To avoid any bother, Yes voters were to show up on the 18th and No voters on the 19th…. “Is that right then?”

Yes voters are determined and will go out to vote Yes regardless of anything. It is only No voters who will get frightened and stay at home.
